Hello everyone and all members of Cinnamon Cup Coffee Community, how are you today? I pray and hope that all of us are always given health, patience and also happiness in living this life. I am sure, all members of Cinnamon Cup Coffee Community are always in a state of enthusiasm and full of inspiration, because every day there is always interesting and inspiring content from this community. This time, I also don't want to lose to my friends in this community. I also want to share my story and experience with all of my friends.

As you all know, we meet in this community because of coffee and our love for it. Almost every day, we see a cup of coffee with various presentations, either because we brew it ourselves or when we come to a coffee shop. Anyway, which coffee dish do you often choose as your friend?

I often say and discuss it with friends in this community, coffee is the most unique agricultural product in the world. We can enjoy coffee directly with a simple processing process without having to have expensive equipment and factories. Coffee also has flavors that we can explore, and so many people are interested in exploring that field. Currently, we have many variants of coffee that we can find.

When we look at the list of coffee menus in coffee shops, we can find many variants of coffee served. We can see coffee served in ready-to-drink sachets, manual brew coffee, or steeping using a coffee machine. Some of the popular coffee menus today, we call it, espresso, cappuccino, latte, machiatto, frappucinho, Americano, dolce latte, and various other coffee variants. One of the coffee variants that are most in demand by many people today is Caramel Machiatto and almost every modern coffee shop has this menu variant. What happens, if I try to compare the caramel machiatto with two different coffee shops with very different prices, keep watching friends.

I try to explain a little about, what is a drink that is the best seller of every modern coffee shop today. Each a cup of caramel machiatto contains espresso, steam milk, vanilla syrup, and caramel syrup on top of the foam. Caramel machiatto can be served hot or cold depending on our tastes, this past week, I tried two different caramel machiatto dishes from two different coffee shops.

Starbucks – Iced Caramel Machiatto

Some time ago, I went to Starbucks to exchange the discount coupon I got. One of the drinks that received a discounted price was the iced caramel machiatto grande and I ordered the menu for my drink that time. The price of iced caramel machiatto after the discount is around 3.3 USD and that's quite expensive for a cup of coffee in Indonesia.

Caramel machiatto from Starbucks is the most popular menu ordered by Starbucks visitors. This caramel machiatto has a very solid taste, the sweetness is perfect for people who want to try to start drinking coffee. At first glance, this caramel machiatto is very similar to iced coffee and milk but it is very different. If we try, iced coffee milk is more dominant in milk taste and in caramel machiatto, we will feel the dominant taste of coffee.

The price of 3.3 USD for a cup of coffee is indeed an overprice price for me, but I can still accept it if I enjoy this coffee, when drinking it at Starbucks. We get iced caramel machiatto which is very solid, and also maximum experience and ambience when enjoying coffee dine in. However, I wouldn't pay that much for coffee, if I ordered take away. Yup, it's just a matter of choosing how to enjoy coffee.

Point Coffee – Hot Caramel Machiatto
Next, I want to discuss the hot caramel machiatto that I bought from Point Coffee, one of the coffee shops with the stop and go concept with the widest franchise network in Indonesia. Every Monday, I always buy coffee at this coffee shop because there is a 50% discount program for each selected coffee menu variant. This Monday, the promo available is Hot Caramel Machiatto and I also want to try it.

This Hot Caramel Machiatto from Point Coffee has a taste that is too sweet for me. Maybe, the melted caramel syrup sprinkled on top of this coffee foam melts and makes it an additional sweetness in this coffee. Although the taste is too sweet for me, the sweetness of this coffee is quite unique, like the combination of vanilla and caramel mixed together. To be honest, I prefer the cold version of the caramel machiatto, because it tastes just right and isn't too sweet either.

For the price of hot caramel machiatto from Point Coffee only 0.83 USD, a very cheap price for good coffee even though it's too sweet. So, what do you guys think? In your opinion, are these two coffees worth it?
