Creating Memories at the Balcony Cafè

Magandang buhay, lovely souls in the Hive! How's everyone today?

I hope you are still loving your coffee and yes, life too :)

I learned yesterday that there is no better way to end a day's adventure than to have a cup of hot coffee on a balcony.

"Really?"

Yes! Not our own though, but a coffee shop's. And it is even more fun and memorable when it's done on a Valentine's day, lol!

Kidding aside, here's a wee view of a brown field and some hills from afar as seen from where we were seated.

We went there for a late afternoon snack yesterday coming from our day-drive from somewhere far away. I opted for a cup of cappuccino and the husband went for a premium-sized (small) cheesecake flavored milk tea.

We also ordered dumplings and a clubhouse. And just when our orders were served, the rain poured. What could be more romantic than that? Lol!

No, we didn't get wet, thankfully. And while the rain did its magic, we enjoyed a good hour and some more, reviewing the day's travel.

Generally, the coffee was pretty good, the farmboy's milk tea was okay too, although we had had better ones from another place. The clubhouse didn't disappoint either. It was tasty! I'll probably write a separate post one of these days for the review :)

The dumplings were crying out for some sauce which the cafè didn't have. Probably it was how their menu was planned, but we think the dumplings would have tasted even better with some sauce.

Nevertheless, we enjoyed them all and the time spent there.

And something a bit amusing has been added to the day's memory. An elderly driver hit our car's rear while he was doing a U-Turn where we were parked. He consciously looked around probably to check if someone saw him (we, in the balcony did), then he drove away really fast, lol! Thankfully, when the husband went down to check, it was a mere scratch so all good.

And while the husband was getting the bills, my eyes and phone camera were feasting on some of the shop's display. These are another province's coffee product. I was tempted to take a pack but decided not to, thinking we'd be going back at another time.

We drove home at half-past 5 in the evening with our tummies full and our hearts warm from the day's wee adventure.

Thank you for reading me and I wish you a fabulous, warm, love-filled day!
