My Favorite Coffee Moments With My Favorite Person

Pour me a cup, will you?

Coffee has been a big part of my life. I survived college through countless cups of coffee. I stayed alert and awake at work by consuming the hot drink. But as I grew older (I'm still young though), coffee has turned into something to be enjoyed either by myself or with the special people in my life.

I value the time in the morning when I prepare my coffee by grinding my beans and brewing using my French Press. I especially value the moments when I'm enjoying coffee (or even tea) with my loved ones. In this post, I'll be sharing with you my favorite coffee moments with my favorite person.

Enjoy!

French Press Coffee at Yolk - Coffee and Breakfast

This was our first breakfast date. We were still dating and everything was new and exciting (it is still now). I've always wanted to go to Yolk and what more perfect reason to go there than to bring a date for breakfast! I had their French Press coffee while my date had hot chocolate. I remember we talked for so long. I was surprisingly very talkative.

Hot Latte at Birdseed Breakfast Club + Café

Another breakfast date! I wrote a food blog about breakfasts and you can check out the post here. On this day, we both joined a fun run and I ran for 12 km. She invited me to join her and her workmates. Finishing the 12 km with a good time was an achievement for me! After the race, we had our breakfast at Birdseed Breakfast Club + Café where I had a latte and we played 10 Questions. That breakfast date revealed a lot about each of us.

Herbal Infusions Tea at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf

After 5 months of being away due to the pandemic, I finally saw my girlfriend in person! We spent our afternoon at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf where I had an Herbal Infusions Tea. I already had coffee early that morning and I didn't want to be jittery around my girlfriend. We caught up on a lot of things that afternoon.

Cold Brew with White Chocolate Mocha at Starbucks

We donated blood on this day at a Red Cross station. Much to my horror, my girlfriend fainted when we left Red Cross. Luckily, we were just across the street and respondents were able to help us. My girlfriend recovered and I wanted her to go home and get some rest. But she insisted that she was already fine and she just needed more sugar. We went to a nearby Starbucks for her to sit down and rest. I ordered my new favorite Starbucks drink, Cold Brew with White Chocolate Mocha. Honestly, I was shaken up and I kept asking her if she was okay. She kept reassuring me that she was. Just recently, we donated blood again. You can read about it in my girlfriend's post here.

Iced Latte at Sip Café

This was a spontaneous date night. Normally, we have to schedule in advance if we're going to see each other. We both have a lot of activities to do after our work. She wanted to try a dessert place and I told her I also wanted to try a new restaurant that was just near the dessert place. We both decided to have dinner at the place where I wanted to visit and later have dessert to where she wanted to check out. I arrived early at the restaurant called Sip Café and I ordered their Iced Latte even though I already had coffee that day. I really enjoyed my time there. I wrote about how this place has become a favorite of mine. You can read my post about it here.

Hokkaido Brown Sugar Milktea at Boba Buttea

I was at my girlfriend's hometown and it was the first time that she showed me around to different locations. One of the places we went to was this local tea shop called Boba Buttea. I ordered my favorite Milktea, Hokkaido. We also cooked and ate pig's brain at the place. And it was the best one I've had! You can read about it in my food blog here.

Hot Latte at Abaca Baking Company

Abaca Baking Company was one of the restaurants we've always wanted to go to. We went on a staycation in the middle of the city and had pastries for breakfast at Abaca. It was a quick rest from all the hustle and bustle of our busy work. I've recently been avoiding milk products because I think I may be lactose intolerant but I still chose to order a hot latte on this day. I didn't want to pair the delicious pastries with just an Americano. The coffee did upset my stomach but it was worth it!

Coffee Caramel Float at Mortybakes

I visited my girlfriend again in her hometown and it was the first time I drove a motorcycle that far. We went out to see her friends and we had our lunch at a restaurant called Mortybakes. The interior of the place was so cool and I enjoyed my time chatting with my girlfriend and her friends. I wanted to order an iced coffee but it wasn't available. The waiter offered me a Coffee Caramel Float instead. It was a bit too sweet for liking though.

If you've reached this far, thank you for spending your time going through my post. This is an entry to the Coffee and coffee shop moments: A posting contest. I didn't think I would participate in it because I thought I did not have enough time. My brother told me he'd be joining and he asked me if I would too. That got me motivated to write this post even though I know I'd sleep late because of it.

Anyway, this was a fairly easy post to write. I love coffee and I am more than happy to feature my dear beloved @patsitivity.

That's it! See you in the next post. Cheers! (with your coffee drinks, of course)
