A wonderfully written appreciation piece to coffee! And what you have written rings true in my own life. Albeit more mechanized (coffee grinders, coffee makers, etc.) standing still in front of the freshly ground coffee, taking in the smell, feeling it between your fingers. Listening to the brew going, smelling the familiar finished coffee. Again, albeit more mechanized coffee brewing bringing you to a state of quietude and reflection is something special in our fast-paced modern world.
