Hello, Friends especially Coffeelovers at this community!

Yesterday was a public holiday in my country, but we were not going anywhere so in the afternoon mom got an idea of ordering her favorite Indonesian authentic cake, the name of it was Serabi Solo. The serabi itself like ape cake and pancake but it was different. Some of it had toppings but some were just original.

I ordered it online, a piece of serabi costed only 3,500 IDR or only 0.25 USD. But if you bought mixed of the flavour that they had, it was only 25K IDR for 8 pieces, or just around 1.8 USD. Aren’t they cheap?

The problem was it was our first time bought the serabi in our city, Jakarta.. we usually have it in another nearest place with its origin, Center Java. Now maybe you asked me what are these cakes relationship with the Italian (coffee)? Just check it out then..

Fortunately I still had one can of Italian authentic Capuccino, in Nescafe brand, which we also never tried before so yesterday afternoon we had the Italian coffee met with authentic Indonesian Cakes, serabi solo… And by the way I bought the cappuccino in the supermarket, I remembered the price was around 8K IDR or just around 0.6 USD.

Here what we had,

You could see that our serabi solo had many flavours, original, jackfruit, chocolate, cheese and also banana. I wondered how would they taste, cause we never tried any flavoured serabi before.. We also still had the cappuccino so how would it taste when we have it together?

And now the flavour of them

The cappuccino was great, it had the sweet coffee flavour and tasted perfectly blended. Maybe it would be tastier if it was chilled or hot but we still enjoyed it anyway.

And for our serabi solo
What made it different between each other were only their topping, they put real fruits or chocolate of cheese in the flavoured serabi. But we could say that all were so fantastically tasty. I mean I never had the smoothest, soft, and sweet – savory serabi would be this kind of delicious. And more best thing was, they served it warm so it made it melted in our mouth. My favorite was the jackfruit one, and I am totally recommended these cakes when you are visiting my country, Indonesia.

The conclusion is we really enjoyed our quality time at home with this Italian coffee met our Indonesian cakes. Thanks for reading my article and hope you enjoy it.

How about you, guys? What did you have for the coffee time?
