At the end of the month the biggest garage sale of the whole city was held, the most awaited by all the inhabitants, Mrs. Maria attended every year, she liked to go there to walk a little, see what they sold and if she liked any object she would buy it. Several weeks passed and the big day arrived, Mrs. Maria arrived very early to the garage sale where she noticed that there were many items for sale, especially ornaments for the house, while walking she saw in a corner a young man who had a lot of paintings, of different sizes, different works of art and the drawings were very striking and beautiful. Mrs. Maria was fascinated and was sure that she would take one of those paintings to place it in her new house.
While looking carefully at the different paintings she had for sale and conversing with the young man, she noticed one with a dark wooden frame and a girl depicted on the canvas, with white skin and long yellow hair, and most impressive with a cup of coffee in her hands. Mrs. Maria stared at it and imagined it hanging on one of the walls of the house, the image was very similar to her, so she offered some money to the young man and without much discussion he accepted it. That was the only purchase the lady made at the garage sale and she went home.

When she arrived home all excited, she cleaned the painting with great care, since it had some dust on it, and with the help of her husband they placed it on the wall she talked so much about, between laughter and a few cups of coffee they wondered who the artist must have been, and who was that woman drinking coffee? The next morning, her little son, Mrs. Maria, playing with a ball, hit the painting so hard that it fell to the floor and one of the edge frames came off. Maria was very upset, since it had not even been on the wall for a day, when she picked it up she saw a writing that was hidden on the back with a very fine and very small handwriting, which needed a magnifying glass to be able to read clearly.
Immediately with a shout she called her husband, who was surprised, they never imagined that it was hidden there, between the two of them they could read the writing which said:
"That woman that is captured there is your mother, she sent me to paint her on this canvas while she was having a cup of coffee, since she was a few days away from leaving because she had to offer her services to the country. This painting was made when you were only two years old son and maybe you don't recognize me and don't remember me, that's why I had this painting made for you to have me present in your heart, to look at it every time you are sad and feel lonely and to give you strength to accomplish all your goals. I love you, your mom. Unknown artist 02/21/2010"
Mrs. Maria, reading that beautiful hidden writing, could not believe it and tears welled up in her eyes, they came to the conclusion that it was a message for her son and that most likely she never realized, the son was the young man who had sold her that painting a few days before at the garage sale. More than 12 years had passed and the painting was still in good condition, Mrs. Maria did not think about it and wanted to return the painting to its owner, since it was a memory of her mother and had a great value and she did not know it.

She decided to return to the place where the garage sale was held, but it was too late because the young man was not there, many say that he sold all the paintings and left, he had accomplished his goal. The lady was very sad, because perhaps many more of those paintings were a fortune, besides the one she bought had a message for him and he had to return it as soon as possible, they contacted the police and they did not give her much information about the young man, the only thing they told her was that he lived alone in his house and was looking for his mother that is why he sold all the paintings to raise money and travel.
Mrs. Maria, looking for him for a long time, did not find him, so she decided to keep the painting, she could fix it and leave it in the best conditions and hung it again on her wall, but she already knew that there was a hidden writing and that she would not get tired of looking for that young man, because she needed to tell him and give him the only thing she had left of her mother, the painting and her hidden writing.
