El café tiene un gran significado para muchas personas en el mundo, es una bebida muy reconocida y consumida, basado en esta podemos hablar muchas cosas desde la historia, preparación, tipos de café y combinaciones; preparar un café puede convertirse en un arte, ya que dependiendo del gusto puede llegar a tener una preparación exacta o un ingrediente especial, en este esta publicación quiero comentar sobre la historia del café en América Latina y cuál es mi tipo de café favorito.
Coffee has a great meaning for many people in the world, it is a very recognized and consumed drink, based on this we can talk about many things from the history, preparation, types of coffee and combinations; preparing a coffee can become an art, because depending on the taste it can have an exact preparation or a special ingredient, in this publication I want to comment on the history of coffee in Latin America and what is my favourite type of coffee.
Historia: Como llego el café a América Latina / History: How coffee came to Latin America.
Según algunos investigadores dicen que el café se originó en África y de allí se distribuyo en el mundo, en América Latina existen varias teorías de como llego el café, pero la verdad en la que todos coinciden es que fue introducido luego del descubrimiento por colonizadores y de esta forma fue extendiéndose en el territorio y produciéndose en diferentes países de la región, actualmente el café que se produce en la región es de muy buena calidad.

Normalmente cuando voy a una cafetería o máquina de café suelo pedir un capuchino, pero en casa preparamos el café de manera natural con un colador, como lo hacían mis abuelos sin máquinas; me gusta el café puro, fuerte de sabor y con dulzor equilibrado, más adelante les explicaré el proceso de preparación.
Normally when I go to a coffee shop or coffee machine I usually ask for a cappuccino, but at home we prepare coffee naturally with a strainer, as my grandparents did without machines; I like pure coffee, strong in flavour and with a balanced sweetness, I will explain the preparation process later on.

Para preparar mi café lo primero que hago es poner a hervir agua en una olla, luego agrego el café al colador o directamente al agua hirviendo, esto depende del grosor del café en polvo, la azúcar podemos agregarla directamente al agua hirviendo o agregarla al gusto cuando el café esté listo.
