It was a Thursday morning. That day the Theater Festival "Disconnected to 969", organized by the Hermanos Sáiz Association, was starting. The entire theoretical event of the festival would take place at the Sports Hotel in the city of Santiago de Cuba. My friend Hair, a journalist, would be in charge of covering all the communication part, and I was in charge of the production inside the hotel.
We both arrived at the same time, to anticipate anything necessary for the event. Great was our surprise when we were informed that this event, scheduled for 10 a.m., had been postponed to 2 p.m. The producers who were at the hotel were very stressed about this, since several events had taken place that escaped their hands, and that left several participants indisposed.
My friend Hair and I, who could not solve anything, applied the law of "Out of sight, out of mind". Then we decided to have an Espresso in the Hotel cafeteria, because it wouldn't be fair for us to stress in vain when we were ready to do our job. In the cafeteria we were surprised by the decoration, the atmosphere and the good service. We talked a lot and also with the laughter we almost forgot the problems in the organization of the event. We also took the opportunity to catch up and also to take some photos. Once again, coffee saved the day.

Era un jueves en la mañana. Ese día comenzaba el Festival de Teatro "Desconectado a 969", organizado por la Asociación Hermanos Sáiz. En el Hotel Deportivo de la ciudad de Santiago de Cuba tendría lugar todo el evento teórico del festival. Mi amigo Hair, periodista, se encargaría de cubrir toda la parte de la comunicación, y yo estaba a cargo de la producción dentro del hotel.
Ambos llegamos a la misma hora, para preveer cualquier cosa necesaria para el evento. Grande fue nuestra sorpresa cuando nos informaron que este evento, programado para las 10 a.m., había sido pospuesto para las 2 de la tarde. Los productores que estaban en el hotel estaban muy estresados por esto, ya que habían tenido lugar varios sucesos que escapaban de sus manos, y que dejaron indispuestos a varios participantes.
Mi amigo Hair y yo, que nada podíamos resolver, aplicamos la ley de "Fuera de la vista, fuera de la mente". Entonces decidimos tomar un Espresso en la cafetería del Hotel, pues no sería justo para nosotros estresarnos en vano cuando estábamos en disposición para cumplir nuestro trabajo. En la cafetería nos sorprendió la decoración, el ambiente y el buen servicio. Conversamos mucho y también con las risas casi olvidamos los problemas en la organización del evento. Aprovechamos además para ponernos al día y también para tomarnos unas fotos. Otra vez, el café salvó el día.
