Daniela came home from work and from the street, she was so overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle of Christmas. She wanted something new, so much commercial movement around her, so many hypocrisies so visible among almost everyone, that it became a tedium, all the Christmas, the gifts, the decorations and everything else. People had forgotten the true meaning of Christmas.
Daniela wanted to do something different and in fact she was researching to see what she could do to share in her office and someone told her about Festivus, but instead of taking it to the family level she would bring it to the office. He laughed inside just imagining that strange sharing, especially when it came to telling their truths to each other, those outbursts from each other would be great.
She felt that they should be sincere with each other, enough of so much kindness disguised as Christmas wishes hehehehehehe, Daniela thought it was also a way to clean the auras and the environment; so she proposed it to her boss and was surprised to see that she supported her proposal. When they presented to the others in the office, the theme of the New Year's Eve party.
Some refused because they did not want to expose themselves to everyone, others said they agreed, because it was the time to put in the limelight the grievances received, that December 23 will be the day, one day before Christmas. Everything fit because they worked almost every day of the year, so they used to celebrate on that date; so that no one would be left out, the boss made the celebration mandatory, because she wanted to know how her staff was doing, their work environment.
She would act as the "mother" of the work family and would be the one to direct everything, the dinner, the time to say the grievances and to carry the festivus pole as an announcement of what would be the celebration, I just hoped not to have to battle with any of them hahahahahaha. Everyone attended the dinner, a little intimidated, not knowing how to handle themselves, but they had no other choice and to liven things up, after dinner the boss explained what it was all about and that she wanted everyone to say what had bothered them during the year, and the cleaning lady began:
-"I dislike that they have no consideration for my work, that some do not even greet me back, for me we are all equal and so we should treat each other," she finished saying.

They all looked at each other with embarrassed faces, looking to other sides, because they knew that to a greater or lesser degree they had been inconsiderate with that lady, they were speechless. Then the messenger of the place spoke.
I hate it when they send me to do "favors" that are not part of my job...without taking into account my time or my needs. From now on I will only do the favor I consider, just so you are clear."
Absolute silence prevailed in the place, no one dared to answer, only Daniela watched amused from a corner and so they were passing one by one with different complaints, almost at the end everyone was a little tense but relieved, liberated, and everyone was just waiting for Daniela's intervention, which had given rise to this new celebration in the office and she neither late nor lazy, began to speak.
I think we should be more empathetic, sincere with each other, leave behind the quarrels, the grudges, leave hypocrisy aside, especially in these days when many are disguised as goodness and when the holidays are over, they show their true face, we should all be original, be what we are and then we would all work with more pleasure and we would really share, really, truly. This is my first real sharing fellows, Happy Festivus! hahahahahaha!
And so ended the first festivus of the office, with everyone more relaxed, no more arguments and happy to turn the page for a new start of the working year, free of all personal grievances and then the true spirit of Christmas blossomed that day for all of them.
