ATV Ride

Happy new week, amazing coffee lover friends!

I've been offline for a weeks handling some family business, but now I've got to time to visit and tell you about this fantastic day out we had as a family at this hidden gem called Cafe by the River. It's tucked away in Bauang, La Union, just a breezy 30-minute drive from our home here in San Juan, La Union. My daughter and I had already been there a couple of times, but this time, we were super excited to bring along my husband, who was home for a short vacation.

My daughter had no classes that day, and we were not doing any meet-ups, meetings, or watsover, so we decided to go have some late breakfast and some coffee somewhere my husband hadn't been, and while browsing on Facebook, we saw that Cafe by the River is offering a new adventure activity called the ATV Ride. Sounds cool, doesn't it? Looks badass too! Nestled in the picturesque town of Bauang, La Union, this riverside cafe is a mere 30-minute drive from our home and it's a place where the tranquility of nature meets the comfort of a good cup of coffee.

We hired a trike going there which cost us around 300 pesos (roughly $5 USD) which is a decent price. As we arrived, the cafe's blissful ambiance greeted us. The serene river flowing alongside, the charming wood tables and chairs, and the soft rustling of the leaves created an atmosphere of peace and relaxation. It was the perfect setting for a family day out. But Cafe By The River is not just about the serene environment; it's a gastronomic delight too! We quickly ordered our favorite drinks – an iced matcha caramel for me, cinnamon brown sugar for my husband, and a choco float for our daughter. Each beverage, priced at a reasonable 100 pesos, was a blend of rich flavors. The cafe also served us a platter of fries, nachos, and Takoyaki, mini pancakes, and a burger combo, all adding up to a feast for a total of 340 pesos. The food was not only delicious but also value for money.

After our delightful snack, we took a leisurely stroll by the river, soaking in the beauty of nature. The calmness of the river, the chirping of the birds, and the gentle breeze made us feel at one with nature. It was as if time stood still, and we were the only ones in this tranquil paradise. The highlight of our day, however, was the new ATV adventure offered by the cafe. For just 200 pesos ($3.50 USD), we had the opportunity to drive around the river area for 20 minutes. My husband was particularly excited about this activity, and it was indeed a thrilling experience. The ATV ride added an element of adventure to our serene day out, making it a perfect blend of relaxation and excitement.

Our day at the cafe was a beautiful family experience. The tranquility of the river, the delicious food, the ATV adventure, and most importantly, the quality time spent as a family made it a day to remember.
As we drove back home, we carried with us the memories of a wonderful day, promising to return to our riverside haven soon. Cafe By The River, with its splendid ambiance, delicious food, and adventure activities, proved to be an ideal spot for a family day out. And as for my husband, he couldn't wait for his next vacation to revisit this riverside gem.

So, if you're looking for a place that offers peace, good food, and a dash of adventure, Cafe By The River is the place to be. It's not just a cafe; it's an experience that brings you closer to nature and your loved ones as well.

Cheers!
