Last week my husband got a package shipment in the form of greenbean coffee coming from his farm in Sipirok, South Tapanuli, North Sumatra. the package is only 2 kg of coffee. I wonder why he suddenly asked for a shipment of coffee from the field. He said he suddenly wanted to make his own coffee like a few years.

Missing it is really hard to define. In 2017 until 2020 early or before the Covid-19 pandemic, my husband always stopped by to offer greenbean coffee that he had, and always almost drank more than 3 glasses of coffee a day. Sometimes he drinks coffee without sugar occasionally he drinks coffee with milk depending on his mood.

My husband had a desire to make a coffee shop but he always delayed even until the friends he taught already had their own coffee shop. Even my husband's coffee brewing tool is quite complete (later I will write about various coffee brewing tools, because I can also brew coffee).

Well, it turns out that greenbean coffee that comes is greenbean wild arabica civet coffee, one of the most expensive coffee in the world that tastes very unusually tasty and authentic. As I recall also once wrote about civet coffee.

If you look at the photo above, that's called greenbean, at a glance if viewed from afar similar to green bean seeds. Well why is it black? That's because the roasting process makes the color black.

According to my husband, civet coffee is very fitting in roasting at the Medium Roast Level that is the color of coffee beans are more browned because it keeps the taste of fruits in the coffee beans.

When we drink wild arabica civet coffee we can feel the sensation of taste that sticks to the wall of the mouth called after taste. And the sensation after taste wild arabica civet coffee the best you can feel that sensation for hours.

The method of brewing wild arabica civet coffee according to my husband is best brewed tubruk or V60. Tubruk method is the original way Indonesians brew coffee.

Coffee tubruk is a typical Indonesian coffee dish. Hot water poured directly into the coffee grounds in a glass. How to make coffee tubruk is considered the simplest and easy because it does not require special tools. But there is a technique to make good coffee, tips from my husband brew directly at water temperature 92 degrees Celsius and let the coffee until coffee grounds down.

V60 coffee brewing method using a funnel-shaped tool that has an angle of 60 degrees. This method of brewing coffee is based on drops by drop of coffee powder that is brewed slowly. For that, V60 requires filter paper or filter. This method is somewhat capitalizing because it requires special cattels, scales, and temperature regulators.
