To say that coffee is a cult drink at this time is more likely no than yes. There are many lovers of this drink, but someone loves tea, and someone else just loves to drink juices or soda water. Although if we consider this topic more deeply, we will understand that there are two camps in the world - these are people who are delighted with coffee, and there are people who are against drinking it. To begin with, I personally have been drinking coffee for a very long time (this is more than 40 years), I like this drink and, as it turns out, I have not received anything bad from it. More than just a lot of joy, pleasant delight, energy for the whole day and boundless love for this divine drink. In our family, this is already a whole ritual. Drink coffee in the morning and evening after work. All members of our family are looking forward to the moment when I brew coffee and they hear the ringing of the bell. Therefore, I know very well that coffee plays a big role in our life.
How can you start your day without a cup of hot coffee with cinnamon and lemon? Although my family is more fond of drinking coffee with milk or cream. This is also a great taste, which you cannot refuse. And if you look at it on a larger scale, then for millions of people in many countries of the world, every day also begins with a cup of coffee. And this is wonderful, this is very good. Just imagine this aroma of coffee in the morning, which gradually fills the house and which no one will ever forget if he inhaled it at least once. And someone knows that the first places of the best-selling goods are not gold or diamonds, not alcohol or tea, not cars or cryptocurrencies, but coffee. Coffee is my friends! This wonderful drink has occupied the leading second place in the world of trade for several decades, after oil. Here is the result, no matter how much those who do not like coffee want it.
It is clear, of course, that coffee as a drink is a completely young commodity or product and coffee in the history of mankind cannot yet compete with the same tea or wine. The history of these manufactured products goes back many hundreds, maybe even millennia. But here is a good example of how a very young product, such as coffee, quickly captured the whole world in a relatively short time (just over 350 years). And if you count how many cups of coffee people around the world drink in just one year, the picture in numbers will be, I think, overwhelming. And a little coffee story. Coffee was brought to Europe by Venetian merchants at the beginning of the 16th century. Can you imagine? Coffee quickly gained both fans and opponents (and it still continues). Someone brewed and savored, and someone watched, expecting deaths, but they never happened. Somewhere coffee has become banned.
Coffee and other coffee drinks (as an example, the most common are Latte, Cappuccino, Espresso, Americano and even Mocha) are very popular in the modern world, of course, for its tonic properties. As I already wrote that just one cup of coffee, brewed and drunk in the morning, increases the energy level of any of us, adds strength to us for the whole day. And one more good quality of coffee, which is little talked about, although this is perhaps the main and connecting one in our life. Having a cup of coffee with friends is a great way of communication and inspiration. This is not to go to a beer bar or visit a wine cellar, where excessive consumption of alcoholic beverages will only harm the body. But there are also beer lovers in this direction, for example. Let us recall the Oktoberfest, which is held annually in Bavaria. Or tea, where everything is slow, but where coffee is everything is fast.
Coffee is already today e just a drink that you want to drink, it is much more. You do not get used to this drink, but while enjoying, you learn with every sip the beauty of the perception of the world. This is communication with friends, a loved one, or you drink coffee while reading a book. Coffee can be drunk alone and together, at work or on the road, when traveling, in the early morning or in the evening after work. Also, coffee is already a real friend for us, when you sit at the computer at midnight, read or write something on social networks or, as I am now writing this post for the Coffee and coffee shop moments: A posting contest in the Cinnamon Cup Coffee Community. Not so long ago I read an interesting statement about coffee, which I especially liked. Words are: How do we drink coffee? We drink it black as night and sweet as sin. True, it is beautifully said. And what kind of coffee does someone like from their community members and contestants?
And if we talk about coffee and its smell, which we catch in the morning when someone brews it. It is appropriate to say here that this delicate aroma emanating from the Turks instantly lifts the mood. Why? I do not know, but this is so, because I myself experience this influence on a daily basis. And those associations associated with coffee are the basis for us. You can remember something pleasant from your life and those moments that gave real happiness. As an example, once I was walking along the street in Tallinn, the weather was cloudy, it was raining. And then suddenly a thick cloud of coffee aroma hit me. It was so strong, tasty and attractive that I instantly turned into a coffee shop. Baristo made me black coffee, as I wanted - with cinnamon, lemon and poured some balm into the coffee. It was a real happiness, when from the drunk cup of coffee warmth went all over the body, it became somehow more cheerful in the soul.
I would also like to say that coffee gives us a good opportunity to discover a new place where there are friends who understand you. Also, coffee leaves us with beautiful memories of the moment where you felt the light coming into your soul. Coffee and only coffee fills our body with positive energy, which charges us for movement. It is coffee that gives everyone the opportunity to have a good, fun and pleasant time, and this is so lacking in our dynamic time, when everyone is running somewhere in the hustle and bustle, afraid to stop. And you have to give up everything, make coffee and enjoy the memory of something sublime and quivering, like the flap of an angel's wing. Those who love coffee are less prone to despondency, sadness and depression, and this is already an imperceptible path to perfection. Then the world around you becomes more beautiful, and you are inspired to feel love. More precisely, coffee is the real poetry of our life.
As if such a case from life. When you walk along the streets of the city, you often come across all sorts of different signs of coffee houses or cafes, where they advertise coffee, inviting visitors in every possible way. Screaming slogans everywhere - Come to us more often for coffee, We have the best coffee, Our barista from Ethiopia itself (I wonder where they are prepared there?). Or already famous - Take your coffee with you. And oddly enough, but people go and take (buy) coffee in paper cups. I think it's an ersatz product, not coffee. No matter how “good” coffee or coffee drink is prepared in cafes or coffee shops - I do not like these drinks. For me, the best coffee, which I brew myself, and, moreover, only black coffee in a Turk. We know how important that moment is for coffee - do not even miss a second, so that the coffee does not boil. If suddenly you do not have time, and the coffee boils, then pour it out and make a new one.
And in conclusion, I present a recipe for making black Turkish coffee, which I always brew myself, not trusting this process to anyone. The simplest time-tested recipe. I take a Turk, pour coffee into it. If I usually have three people, then I fall asleep three teaspoons of coffee. At the same time, I throw a pinch of salt into the coffee. Otherwise, the coffee will not be tasty and aromatic. Then I fill the coffee with cold water and let it stand for some time from 20-30 minutes to 1-2 hours. It is better to do this in advance, then the coffee is infused and it will be tastier - that's for sure. I put on the coffee and watch it so that it doesn't boil. As soon as foam appears at the neck of the Turk, I move the Turk aside, and then put the Turk on the stove again. This usually happens three times when the foam rises. It is usually necessary to brew coffee for at least 3-5 minutes. With a teaspoon I throw foam into the cups for each person, pour a little cinnamon into it and then pour coffee. After that I add lemon or someone else's milk (cream). It is best to drink coffee without sugar, then the taste of coffee is not muffled, although the aroma, of course, remains with milk.
And this is the same bell that I ring when the coffee is ready (I brewed it) and those who are at home at this moment have to go and drink. We have developed such a tradition or even a ritual over the years when we drink this divine, delicious, aromatic and pleasant drink called Coffee. I wish you all, my friends, to love coffee in the same way, so that the world becomes even more beautiful, wonderful and colored with many colors. Because coffee expands horizons and makes everyone kind and happy.
