The idea of coffee having a hymn had never occurred to me, but I sincerely believe that it would be something fair, because there are many of us around the world who love coffee madly and we cannot imagine a day in which it is not present.
Thinking about the above I searched my mind for songs that could reflect how we would feel in the absence of this drink, which accompanies us since we wake up, I am sure that like me, the first thing you prepare when you wake up is coffee.
On the other hand, I remembered how many acquaintances and relatives have felt when they have had to give up coffee for medical or aesthetic reasons, for example, a teeth whitening or for taking some treatment, so I have seen them suffer terrible headaches and be simply unbearable due to the lack of caffeine.
Remembering the latter I chose a song that was and still is very famous in my country from a Venezuelan group whose name was King Changó, this song is titled "Without you", this band only recorded two albums, but both counted with songs that made history, sadly this band that originated in the 90's lost one of its founders and vocalist known artistically as "Blanquito Man" (José Andrés Blanco Aybar), he passed away from stomach cancer in 2019.
Basically, I chose this song because its lyrics talk about how someone feels about the loss of a loved one and has a deep regret and talks about how they can't imagine life without that loved one, I think the same thing happens to us in the absence of coffee.
I can't even eat anymore
I just can't forget you
Oh, my life help me
Without you I can't live anymore
And I go on like this
Without your love and I go on like this
It's that my life without you
I can't live, no
So tough, so tough, so tough, so tough, so tough
I have to get on my knees and pray
So tough, so tough, so tough, so tough, so tough
Oh, baby it's not enough, enough
Or maybe it's not enough, enough
I have to get on my knees and pray
Enough, enough, enough, enough, enough
It's all left in yesterday
Tears on our altar
You are my soul mate
Without you I can't breathe
And I go on like this
Without your smell and I'm still like this
It's just that my life without you
I can't live, no
So tough, so tough, so tough, so tough, so tough
I have to get on my knees and pray
So tough, so tough, so tough, so tough, so tough
Oh baby it's not enough, enough
Or maybe it's not enough, enough
I have to get on my knees and pray
Enough, enough, enough, enough, enough
Oh, baby I and I pray
Me pray for another chance with you me pray
Oh, God let this pain go away
Tell me why our love had to end
Why did our ego get the better of us?
Ending everything that was our altar
You're my soul mate and I won't forget you
And I pray that in the afterlife we'll meet again
Oh baby I and I pray
And I go on like this
Without your love and I go on like this
I can't live without you
I can live, no
So tough, so tough, so tough, so tough, so tough
Come rock steady, must doo va day
(So tough, so tough, so tough, so tough, so tough) Come rock steady, must doo va day
Enough, enough, enough, enough, enough
I have to get on my knees and pray
Enough, enough, enough, enough, enough
I've got to go and I don't want to walk away
Oh, my life help me, without you I don't want to live no more
And I go on like this
Without your scent and I go on like this
I can't help it
Help me, I can't forget you
It's that without you, it's that without you
It's that without you, I can't live anymore
