Las Vegas Trip, 2019

After visiting the hospital for a monthly check-up, I was feeling nostalgic and sentimental. It was an emotional day. Every day I feel like I am counting my days and every day seems like the same. Covid broke me mentally, psychologically and my mind is full of pain rather than my body. I feel alone though my family is so supportive.

But today something different happened. I saw a couple in the hospital waiting for their newborn. Their newborn is in intensive care, fighting for life but still, their parents are hopeful and were eagerly waiting for their daughter's update. This was not a pediatric hospital so what they were doing there I don't know. I was curious, had a lot of questions in my mind, and wanted to ask them but after seeing their situation, I changed my mind.

It was not a good idea after all and better not to disturbed them. They were in tension, especially wife was crying hard. Seeing their condition, I became emotional and gave a thought to my life too. I was hoping that the reflection on my life will help me to think twice about my thoughts and decisions. One thing I can tell you is that it's not easy to accept reality when the reality is so hard to digest. But positive reflection always helps, good memories encourage to change perspective sometimes.

While holding a cup of tea, I suddenly recalled my Las Vegas Trip, the golden days. I was there with my family and we had so much fun. The memories were created a few years ago, in 2019, before the pandemic. I haven't written much about myself, I am taking time. I have a lot of stories to tell, a lot of experiences to write about but don't know how many days are left. Everything needs time which I don't have but no matter how much time is left for me, I want to use them wisely.

We went to hotel The Tropicana, Palazzo , The Sahara, Wynn and the Aladdin, Treasure, Island, Mandala Bay and The Monte Carlo. Mostly explored the whole street and a part of the city itself. The difference between night and day is tremendous, Vegas never sleeps at night.

It was hot summer days, pretty expensive city. We didn't stayed at hotel, we had rented an apartment through airbnb. We only stayed in Vegas for 3 days and then left. Our apartment was near to Piazza San Marco.
