Announcing the Guild of Guardians Community on Hive!
Hello and welcome to the newly created Guild of Guardians Community here on Hive! We've created this community on Hive because we're quite convinced that Blockchain Gaming and Hive go hand in hand. If you're playing Guild of Guardians (or planning to) and creating content about it on Hive you're not only Playing & Earning you're also Creating & Earning due to how Hive's reward system works. Hold that thougth and we'll elaborate later in this post.
What can you expect to find here?
We want the Guild of Guardians community to be a hub for anything related to Guild of Guardians.

Take a look at the Gods on Chain and Axie Buzz to get an idea of what you can expect. These are two communities who has seen great success here on Hive and who have been dishing out rewards to their active and creating members!
Take note that you do not need to be a content creator with a huge following to join this community. Look at it like Reddit where anyone is able to join, post their content and get to trending. Just instead of karma you get paid in crypto.
What is Hive and how do I get an account?
Hive is a blockchain like many others. What differentiates Hive from many others is its focus on content creation and social interaction. On Hive you get rewarded in crypto for these things. Where Reddit awards you in worthless karma for likes and upvotes Hive rewards you in crypto. Rewards are decided by the people who check out and vote for your content. The bigger stake a voter has the more his vote will be worth in terms of rewards.
Do take note that reposts, plagiarism and reward farming are highly frowned upon on Hive.
You're probably starting to understand why we believe Guild of Guardians and Hive go hand in hand.
We could spend hours writing down information on how the deep ends of Hive works but for now we're quite certain we've covered the basics that anyone would need to get started.

How can I join Hive?
The easiest ways to get Hive accounts are through Hiveonboard.com or PeakD.com. These require SMS verifaction for the sake of being free. It's also possible to sign up through Ecency.com without requiring the verification.
If those services should be out of account creation tokens feel free to contact @pusen or @lionunchained on Discord through the tags "pusen#6969" or "lion#0718". You're also free to contact us there if you have questions. Questions regarding Hive in general should be conveyed to @pusen.
If you sign up through the Hiveonboard or PeakD links you will be using my referral links. This makes it easier for us to monitor your account when it comes to resource credits and other stuff you will need to post. This also triggers beneficiary rewards to me and the accounts who used account creation tokens to make your account but these can easily be removed if you so wish.
It is extremely important that you save your keys when you create your account. On Hive your account is also your wallet so if you lose your keys you lose your account, wallet and all associated funds.
Now that you have your account you only need to make your way to the community through your preferred frontend, subscribe and start posting! I personally prefer to be using the PeakD frontend but this is entirely up to you.

Also, to start posting and engaging on Hive you will need something called RC (Resource Credits). You can get RC either by buying Hive and staking it or getting a delegation from someone.
