As someone whose screen time is always above average, it’s expected that I roam everywhere on my phone. It’s sad that I am not a digital inquisitor and barely explore the apps on my phone except the ones for visual editing. I know it’s an embarrassing thing to say but there are apps on my phone that I act like do not exist. Anyway, I so wanted to come here and start by saying I wake up in the morning and then open my Bible app and … but it’s far from that and I’m going to be honest(don’t judge me).
One of the first things I do right after waking up is to check the crypto market. I even have a widget on my screen about some tokens with BTC on top. That actually helps me to take wise decisions to manage the little 3 BTC that I do not have (don’t laugh at me). I just deeply know somewhere deep down in my heart that my future husband somewhere has it (proud of you my love). Honestly, that market widget is for decoration (settings upon settings).
Right after that, I check my email to reply work and other important mails. Actually, about 70% of my life goes on in that electronic mail don’t ask me how). Sometimes I spend all my mornings there without even realizing. Of course, just like the crypto market, I’ve also pinned a widget of my email on the screensaver of my phone so I never miss new mails. That should tell you how important they are.
Mmmm, now, there are these two apps I call twins on my phone: ecency and discord, hehe. When my screen time began to increase, I just knew the reason was ecency. I love hive and the ecency frontend helps me achieve my daily engagement target. I have no particular time I go to those apps but I’m always there when I get the notifications which also means I barely stay away from those apps more than an hour.
Ohhh and now, to my educational corner that I hate sharing.Hehe. Not because I am stingy but I just like to take people by surprise. Like how, so you know this?(yeah I know this and many others, hehe). Anyway, I mostly run to those apps in the middle of the day when I’m resting from work and other things. I just bury myself in either Alison, books or write my emotions in notes but mostly, you’ll find me on the learn German app.
The last and favorite part of my digital routine in a day is listening to podcasts which normally happens when the day is over and I’m preparing supper. I love listening to podcasts so much especially Christian podcasts, financial podcasts and psychological podcasts. Personally, I have grown so much as a person and I can attribute certain salient part of my growth to podcasts.
Now that I think about my digital routine, I feel like my life would be ehh.. I wouldn’t say miserable but “lacking” without my phone. It’s safe to say my phone gives me joy and even though it’s not so good, I’m just happy at least, I’m seeing great things happening to me through Grey.
