Fly agarics in Rhodope mountans

In the summer, my friends and I spent a few days in Rhodope mountain. As we cycled along the dirt roads, there was an area full of red fly agarics. I took some interesting photos there, that I want to share with the Fungifriday community.

There were many of them and they were all different shapes, sizes and shades of red.

Some were so beautiful that I would stop the bicycle and start taking pictures.

About the red Fly Agaric, I know that it is highly poisonous, although because of its property to cause hallucinations it is used in ritual practices by some shamans.

The area where I saw so many Fly Agarics was around the Veliitsa shelter, near the village of Ortsevo.
