Hunting for Morel Mushrooms || FungiFriday

Hi friends,

In Goolwa, the most beautiful seasons of the year are... The usual lovely spring air can be felt now, despite the fact that the season just started to manifest itself late this year.

In our area, the morel mushroom was commonly referred to as lamb belly. There are more than 21 types of these honeycomb-like mushrooms throughout the world. The morel mushroom is regarded as the world's second most valuable fungus, as well as one of the most expensive.

As we got closer to Goolwa, the location where we planned to go mushroom hunting, one of my buddies began to tell us about morel mushrooms. During the mushroom hunt, he expressly told us not to touch any species other than the morel mushroom.

Before we got to Goolwa Lake, we got off the bus in front of Goolwa Park Restaurant on the road to walk to the path that my friend had planned.

The baskets were fastened to the arms after a briefing, and we all dove into the jungle. We were greeted by nature among the pine trees, a soothing and fascinating surroundings, and bird sounds that we couldn't get enough of...

We initially accepted that we could pick as many mushrooms as nature permitted in the forest, where nature produces its own environment, and we began looking for them.

We took extra precautions not to touch any mushrooms other than the morel mushroom and to avoid moving any fallen trees or branches.

Our acquaintance continued to send information about mushroom collection, preservation, cleaning, and cooking on a regular basis.

We also spoke about other meals that we could create with morel mushrooms at the end of the day.
