Cuando vi al hongo más desarrollado me hace pensar que se trata de la especie llamada ¨Pycnoporus¨¨sanguineus¨: Esta identificación también es muy posible, ya que se han visto en lugares tropicales, algo similar al clima que tenemos en mi ciudad. Como les dije al principio, estoy seguro que se trata de un hongo ¨Pycnoporus ¨: pero al ver su desarrollo tengo dudas sobre su especie. Como para ayudarlos a identificar, les comento que aquí el clima es caluroso, y hemos vistos estos hongos desarrollarse en ramas de árboles caídos y después de las lluvias con los terrenos húmedo.
