Driving back home in the early afternoon after hours of walking and looking for mushrooms that were not there (except a few) I saw something red stuck between the grasses on the side of the road.
What? That cannot be! I jumped out of the car to make sure and there he was. In the last rays of the setting sun...

I have never seen them here before but this one was definitely feeling good, so it must be a common one in that area. Large, bright red, shiny hat with the white spots. Handsome guy.
There was no other ones around, which is a shame. I took some shots and with a smile on my face went back to the car.
Time to go home.
