Majority of the mushrooms I shoot are the inedible ones or the ones that I think are inedible so I don't pick them. Only then I have the time to admire them in all their funginess (I know it is not a word, I just made it up) and take some photos. After that I leave them and move to another one.
With the edible ones it is a different story. After I spot one all I can think of is to pick it and look for another one. There is usually more of them around as they do like to grow in group.
It is the rush kicking in (picking mushroom is such an extreme port! :p) that makes me hurry up as if the little guy could run away or hide under the moss. I can't control it. I am not trying to control it.
The downside of that rush is lack of photos :) I only think of that after they land in my basket and that is no fun anymore.
This one here is hiding pretty well ๐
All the mushrooms here are Bloetus type. If it is exactly the same, or few different within the same group, I don't know. They are all edible and I picked them all after taking the photos.
Here is another one!
This one really tried hard not to be spotted.
They tend to hide well and they have a reason for it. They are mot picked ones by humans (and slugs too) so they have to hide. Not like the colorful one that stick their hats high above the stick and mosses.
It as such a nice walk an dry and then cam the rain...
It didn't make it any easier to spot them and even harder to pick - they turned to a very slippery target.
But I had a chance to shoot them with some waterdrops :)
See all the tiny ones around?
Not the same type and I doubt they are edible.
That last one I spotted only because I anted to shoot the big one with a little fly on. I did not see the little bron guy.
Change of focus.
There he is :)
Ended up in my basket too. Where else? :p
Lastly Boletus Edulis according to Artificial Intelligence Imagination.
That must be me - the mushroom slayer ๐
