Flowers for Eyes to See

Recently I heard someone say that without eyes there would be no flowers in this world

First this might sound untrue, but when you think about it, it's obviously a truism. And yet it's really interesting to think about it for a while... Flowers definitely want to attract insects to pollinate them. And insects can do this because they can see them. Of course there are other ways for this (other senses) as it is not strictly a visual cue, but the point is that it is definitely one of the most important ones. So without eyes flowers would probably (or definitely) not be so colorful with so many variations. I suppose it is unclear if they would still have the same shapes? Perhaps they would be amazingly fragrant as to attract insects from many miles away...

So good that there are eyes in this world to see their stunning beauty. Here are some examples from spring!
