Aam Panna is a refreshing cooler drink prepared using raw mangoes.
It is like squash that can be easily made at home. Mangoes used to prepare this drink must be raw and not ripened ones, they should be sour. Since there is a lot of sugar used here, this drink can be preserved for a weeks’ time.
I make this using water normally but when there are some guests coming at home, I make them using sprinkling water, it tastes heavenly with that. It is actually a heat-resistant drink that refreshes you from within. Some basic spices are added to it that gives it a spicy tangy taste. One of the main ingredients in this drink is fresh mint leaves which just makes this drink awesome.

Method
Step 1: Peel off the cover from the raw mangoes and separate the seed out.
Step 2: Take a pressure cooker and add the raw mangoes to it. Add 1 glass of water and cook it for 4-5 whistles.
Step 3: Once the steam is released, let them cool off. Use a hand blender to blend the mangoes to form a puree.
Step 4: Add 200 gms of powdered sugar to the mangoes, roasted cumin powder, salt, and rock salt. Mix well.
Step 5: Take mint leaves in a mixing jar and add a little water. Grind the leaves and add to the mangoes and mix well.
The concentrated form of aam Panna is now ready. Add chilled water/sprinkling water and ice cubes while serving and garnish with mint leaves.
