This world is full of mysteries and secrets. Like it or not, some of the characters we like was died in a state of chronic disease. For example, George Michael died, it caused by heart and liver disease. Another example, the legendary musicians like Michael Jackson died under mysterious circumstances. But after a few years, it was finally revealed that he died of a heart attack caused by a propofol overdose. Then there is the most recent news that Joey Jordan, former drummer of the Slipknot Band has passed away.
This sad news was conveyed by his family. Jordison died while he was sleeping. His family still covering up and hasn’t spoken to media about the cause of Joey Jordison death. However, the cause of his death isn’t yet known clearly. But, Jordison once claimed that he had a disease called transverse myelitis. This disease caused him to leave Slipknot and take a break from the music world.
In memorial of Joey Jordison and his musical career, we know that Joey Jordison is a one of the founders of Slipknot band. He founded the band with Shawn Crahan and Paul Gray in Iowa, US. At the first, they didn't name the band that they built, named as Slipknot, they named theirself as Des Moines. The "Slipknot" name was set in 1995.
Then, Jordison became the drummer in Slipknot band. The performance of his drum solo was liked by much of Slipknot fans. One of his best works he has ever achieved, Jordan ever won a grammy for the best metal performance category in 2005 for the song "Before I Forget". This was one of seven grammy nominations that he received during his career with Slipknot. While he still active in Slipknot, he was also involved in creating a new band called Scar The Martyr (2013). Then, after he go away from Slipknot, he played with Sinsaenum Band, until now or before his death.
His family has spoken to media that Joey Jordison will be buried close and privately. This isn’t attended by media and public. I also wish Joey Jordison rest in peacefully. Your musical career and drum performance is always lives in our hearts.
