Oregon Coast - Devils Punch Bowl

We got away this week for a quick two day trip to the Oregon Coast. There were quite a few more people visiting the coast than you would normally see this time of year. Most of them probably getting out to stretch their legs after a year of no travel due to Covid. Despite the crowds and the prevalence of a somewhat general surly attitude we still managed to have a good time. 😀

One of the sights we we decided to take in was the Devils Punch Bowl. We arrived in the morning and it turned out to be a good time crowd wise also. The tide was out and the sea was calm so the punch bowl was empty and no where near as devilish as it can be.😁👹

A single shot (left) and a four frame pano from the same position. I like the curvature of the horizon in the shot above.

Some more of the rocks, sea and birds as we walk further up the trail.

A last look north up the coast at the punch bowl and the surrounding rocks

Another panorama of the same view.
