Devastating photos pour in from New Orleans after Hurricane Ida hits land

Countless photographs have already been uploaded to the internet of the impact that hurricane Ida has had so far on New Orleans and the surrounding areas. The hurricane was so powerful it was forcing the Mississippi river to flow backwards.

According to a USGS graph, the Mississippi River's stream was reversed for approximately four hours near Belle Chasse, Lousiana, which is located in Plaquemines Parish.

In this Twitter video you can see parts of a trailer fall from the sky.
