While reviewing various projects, I came across many token minting and burning mechanisms lately. This situation motivated me to design my own token. Since I don't want to deal with anything but creating content, the token I will design will remain a thought experiment. If someone finds my token idea fun and produces it, of course, I will be one of the customers.
I want the token to be in line with current trends. So 1 Lucky Turkey will be worth 0.000000001 Hive. Thus, people will feel rich by giving 1 Hive and buying 1,000,000,000 Lucky Turkey. The word Turkey does not refer to the country I live in, but to turkey, which is an animal. Because of the dual meaning of the word 'turkey', this name may not be welcome in Turkey, as we have been exposed to bad jokes for years. On the other hand, many people in Turkey celebrate the new year by eating turkey. Islamists are furious that we have adopted Christian customs. However, they do not know that because of them, people turned away from the monotheistic religions and a large atheist mass was formed. Anyway, I won't get off the topic.
I originally thought that the name of the token would be Lucky Turkeys in Space. However, I gave up on this name because it reminded me of Turkey's space program that started recently. Although the token will have a turkey image on its logo, I do not want to get into trouble with the Turkish state.
Those who buy our token will be given Hive tokens, equivalent to 2 per thousand of the value of Lucky Turkey (LKT) tokens every day. Initially, 10 trillion LKT tokens will be produced and placed in a Hive-Lucky Turkey liquidity pool. I will meet the 10,000 Hives required for this job. (I am very generous today) Hives to be given to token holders will be covered by Lucky Turkey Tokens, which are produced by the smart contract every day and sold to the liquidity pool. With compound interest, this production means 107% annual inflation for LKT. However, we have mechanisms to stabilize this inflation and even make LKT deflationary.
In LKT trading, the 2% transfer fee will be deducted by the smart contract and automatically burned. Thus, on days with a trading volume of 10% of its total value, LKT will become deflationary.
In addition, as the word Lucky suggests, a lottery will be held every day, and unlucky people will be determined in this lottery. For one out of every fifty accounts holding LKT, the transfer fee valid for the sale will thus increase to 10%. This unfortunate situation will last for three months. The transfer fees of those who are in a hurry to sell will have a deflationary effect.
Our NFT collection, Lucky Turkeys, will feature turkeys traveling in space and on various planets, reminiscent of the Angry Birds in Space game. Turkeys will growl and lay eggs on various celestial bodies.
Every New Year's Eve, Lucky Turkey owners will be reminded of how lucky they are through airdrops. The tokens to be distributed will be chosen from names that evoke the original brand, such as Little Turkey, Giant Turkey, and Lucky Turtle. In addition, a big draw will be held at the beginning of the year, and the most unlucky people of the community will be selected and a 10% transfer fee will be applied to their tokens for 1 year.
Lucky Turkey will essentially be the token of a Play-to Earn game. It will provide players with advantages such as colliding spaceships, painting turkey eggs, riding an ostrich, adjusting the gravity of visited planets, pecking the alien character named Elon the Mask. Those who want to play the game with superheroes such as the flying turkey Murat will also have to pay with Lucky Turkey.
The game will take place in turkey farms built on various celestial bodies. Angry vegetarians from various planets will hold protests in front of the farms. When there is a solar eclipse, werewolves and zombies at comet crossings will attack farms. In normal times, capitalist vampires will rule the farms.
Collaborations will be an important element of our marketing strategy. Items such as the cape of Murat the flying turkey obtained in the Lucky Turkey universe will provide an advantage in Splinterlands, while some Splinterlands cards will be valid in the Lucky Turkey universe.
Now, when I talk about these, I think of small games I wrote 35 years ago on my Amstrad computer with 64 kb memory. So it's time for me to end my post.
