Blue || Azul
It is well known that colors have a great influence on our mood and mental state. We choose one color or another to dress, decorate our home or our workplace, while companies choose the tones of their logos, advertisements or establishments depending on what they want to provoke in their potential audience.
In color psychology, blue evokes feelings of calm, serenity and stability, thus being able to reduce our metabolism, and consequently, reduce stress.
This time, the theme of this new day is blue. Obviously our first thought is immediately directed to the sky or the seas and oceans, elements that we all identify with this hue, however, I wanted to share photographs where the prominence of blue is found in the decoration of homes.
These photos belong to my personal archive and correspond to the historic center of Puerto Cabello, a Venezuelan city located on the shores of the Caribbean Sea.
Es bien conocido que los colores ejercen una gran influencia en nuestro estado anímico y mental. Elegimos uno u otro color para vestirnos, decorar nuestro hogar o nuestro lugar de trabajo, mientras las empresas escogen los tonos de sus logotipos, anuncios o establecimientos en función de lo que quieran provocar en su público potencial.
En psicología del color, el azul evoca sentimientos de calma, serenidad y estabilidad, pudiendo así reducir nuestro metabolismo, y en consecuencia, reducir el estrés.
En esta oportunidad, el tema de esta nueva jornada es el azul. Evidentemente nuestro primer pensamiento se dirige de inmediato al cielo o los mares y oceános, elementos que todos identificamos con esta tonalidad, sin embargo, quise compartir fotografías donde el protagonismo del azul se encuentra en la decoración de viviendas.
Estas fotos pertenecientes a mi archivo personal, corresponden al casco histórico de Puerto Cabello, una ciudad venezolana ubicada a orillas del Mar Caribe.
