Sun || Sol
The Sun is the closest luminous star to the Earth, being our main source of light and energy. Its formation, according to experts, dates back some 4.5 billion years and stands out for being the central axis of our planetary system, around which both our planet and other celestial bodies orbit.
Its importance is of such magnitude, that since the origins of mankind, the Sun has been worshiped by various civilizations as a deity associated with life, fertility of the land, heat and light, among other attributes.
A few years ago, I took this pair of photos that I share today in this new challenge, of the sunset of a July day, from the window of my room, where you can see the sun setting on the horizon while its light illuminates part of the sky and the modest skyline of the city, before giving way to the darkness of the night.
As I have described in previous publications, I used the editing tools offered by Picsart and Snapseed applications to intervene the original image to my satisfaction.
El Sol es la estrella luminosa más cercana a la Tierra, siendo nuestra principal fuente de luz y energía. Su formación, de acuerdo a los expertos, se remonta a unos 4.500 millones de años y se destaca por ser el eje central de nuestro sistema planetario, alrededor del cual, tanto nuestro planeta como otros cuerpos celestes, orbitan.
Su importancia es de tal magnitud, que desde los orígenes de la humanidad, el Sol ha sido adorado por diversas civilizaciones como una deidad asociada a la vida, la fertilidad de las tierras, el calor y la luz; entre otros atributos.
Unos años atrás, tomé este par de fotos que hoy comparto en este nuevo desafío, del atardecer de un día de Julio, desde la ventana de mi habitación, donde puede observarse el sol ocultándose en el horizonte mientras su luz ilumina parte del cielo así como el modesto skyline de la ciudad, antes de dar paso a la oscuridad de la noche.
Tal como lo he descrito en publicaciones anteriores, usé las herramientas de edición que ofrecen las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed para intervenir las imágenes originales a mi entera satisfacción.
