Barely few days into the month and yet we've had countless experiences and learnt a lot of stuffs. The motivation for the day is from the book of psalm 145:18.
The LORD is near to all who call on Him, to all who call out to Him in truth.
This verse written by no other than the man after God's own heart, King david explicitly told us that the Lord is near unto those who are willing and ready to call unto him. One thing we have to understand is in our highs and lows of life, God is present.
In that situation that seems to bother you so much, that looks like the world is not just moving in your favour and you feel powerless about it, god is present. All you need do is to call onto him.
The bible says further in the mathew cpater 7 verse 7. it says ask and it shall be given unto you, seek and ye shall find , knock and it shall be opened. that's literally the magic word for we Christians.
In this month of October all you need to do is open your mouth in prayers and invite God into that situation that's bothering you and he would be there for you and with you holding your hand all the way. While the diclipes were bothered about the storm, Jesus was sleeping in the lower deck, he was with them yet he didn't interfere until he was called into the situation and he went up and said peace be still and the storm became at peace. This is to tell you that we need to stop assuming and saying God understands, we need to start using our mouths to invite him and confess that positivity into our situations.
The Bible says in 2 Chronicles 7:14
if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
This is a promise, and He has said that Heaven and Earth would pass away but not a word that comes out of His mouth would go without being fufilled.
For the remaining part of the year, lets' draw near to God with faith and open up to him for he has said can a child ask his father for bread and his father gives him stone or can he ask for fish and his father gives him snake, How much more our Heavenly father.
