You've got your intuition, but act based on facts

Our mind can be very cunning.

Someone can go all out to bear a grudge and form an enemity with another person because of what they heard from unverified sources. In the same manner, a lot of people intuitively assume that someone is up to no good. In some cases, they see someone as a diabolical being without ever knowing much about the person.

As you already know, our intuition can be right. That's why many people see themselves as good judge of character. I know that I'm one of those people, but the fact remains that when we act based on that intuition, things can go wrong at the least expected time. Remember, if you make one mistake after doing 10 things right, you will have to deal with the consequence.

What we hear from hearsay can also be wrong. In such situations, it becomes problematic for those that choose to act on impulse without truly knowing the FACTS. Of course, acting on impulse has already messed up a lot of relationships between humans. It has also led to regrets.

So, what's the way to go?

This thingy called FACT-FINDING may seem like something that should only be explored by the investigation bureau in their line of job. Perhaps, you are assuming that journalists can go ahead and hunt for facts before writing their stuff. What about prosecutors? You already know that they are one of those that need to get facts before prosecuting lawbreakers.

And you? Do you need facts?

YES! As far as we relate with people, we will always need to get our facts straight before taking any action.

Left for me, I would advise us all to keep a cool head and get as many facts as we can lay our hands on before taking action. Get all the facts you need, and then, take action. You will notice that regardless of what the fact would be, having it at hand will make it easier for you to make a smart decision.

You'd be surprised to know that a whole lot of people can pick a fight with another person based on what they think about the person. I've seen that on several occasions and it just doesn't make sense.
