We have been enthralled
by the beauty
of blood and gore
allured to the distant
clanging of swords
the redness of the evening,
squirms a passion,
through victory or defeat,
the spears are never bereft
of sleeping blood,
on rusting metals.
The thoughts of valor
skims through the mind
painting colorful portraits
of a gruesome battlefield
the whistling sounds
of traveling arrows
echoing beyond the mountains.
The ripening of morn,
at the first light.
The caustic energy
that fuels a rage,
We have been enticed,
by the glistening armors
of helmeted soldiers
as it blinks with ardor,
their fearless gait
as their boots squashes
tender leaves
as they march continually
it speaks of courage never seen.
Our lives
are now entwined,
to unheard adventures
of love.
the far-flung yearnings
of the flesh.
and the perils
that comes with being broken,
a war we have begun
with a narrow road
to endless pain.
Our hearts,
are now charmed,
fascinated by the
beauty of endless storms,
the loveliness of lightening,
as it glints with danger.
It reminds the soul,
of a ride into the clouds
leaving behind,
gold-plated epitaphs
to tell our tragic stories.
The pain of being broken,
bested from behind,
by the spears of deceit.
as the skies bleed
stabbing rains.
In our dying moments
we are proud victors
that never conquered love,
armed with nothing but courage
