Being Limited By Default In Our Choices Of Expression; Is Life Really Unfair?

Being born is not a choice anyone was and will ever be presented with, and this is because in life, our choices, our freedom, our right are originally limited to some certain extent by default. The inability to determine so many things in our lives sometimes contradicts the fact that people want to express the highest form of freedom. However, we're limited in our nature, despite bring mentally equipped to envisage the impossible.

Being born might not be a choice, but sometimes, we grow to appreciate the fact that life is a gift, a gift that's come to be appreciated by our ability to showcase our consciousness. Although not everyone would see life as a gift. In fact, so many people would prefer not to be alive, maybe due to the fact that the circumstances that surrounds their existence hasn't been favorable to them.

A lot of people struggle from birth to key into who they are and this is why life ends up being a challenge, a battle or a condition to actually endure. Life has a way of taking away some natural endowment from one, sometimes, it feels like some people are lucky, it feels like some others are not and beginning to question the logic behind this is pointless. Life can be logical, but it might not be compulsorily logical.

This means that so many things will actually make sense while so many others wouldn't, and trying to get life to totally make sense, makes meaning, or conform to our sense of rationality wouldn't actually work. It is why so many phenomenons are inexplicable, we ask questions to our capacities and learn to live with the rhetoric, no matter how unfair it seems.

Due to the fact that we all differ in our endowment and abilities, there is always that tendency that there will be comparison, we'd find the need to see place inferiority and superiority as a feature due to some certain things, trademark, signature or traits that is synonymous with a person. There will be compartmentalization and this is how people get to be categorized, even with them not knowing they have. This is why life sometimes turns out to be competitive. Even when you're trying to run your race, it gets to a time you're sucked in.

Sometimes we ask questions about who we are, sometimes we wish we could be different, sometimes we wish we had a say in whom we could be. The power of consciousness is so strong that sometimes it feels like we're super humans. We feel like we deserve better, our environment, our disposition becomes so strong sometimes we crave and want the unthinkable, but this freedom is only limited to the mind.

No matter how brilliant or intelligent we are as a specie, we cannot fathom many things, especially when it comes to trying to place logic as to why some things are actually the way they are. Scientifically, we have achieved many things beyond reckoning, we would still achieve more as the human race, we would discover more technologies that would answer our questions and solve our curiosities.

But the fact that we're not immortals, limits what ever freedom we might tend to exercise with our scientific discoveries. Some people wish they wouldn't grow old, others wish they can be beautiful forever, others wish to be totally healthy, why some just wants to be whole and enjoy the essence of life. In the different situations we find ourselves, we have things we wish can happen to us, so that our lives can be changed forever, but then, we're limited in the things we can eventually have.

I am not saying we should give up trying to find answers about life: why it can be unfair to some and fair to others, why so many things about it doesn't correlate. My point is when we continue doing, we end up living for reasons that wouldn't really bring us happiness. Everyone individually needs a motivation to stay alive, sometimes living for a person, a reason or a purpose might be one. Sometimes it might just be because of how we have come to love life, irrespective of our failings, challenges and issues.

Nevertheless, it's important to understand that being unfair is a huge characteristic of life and when it affects us negatively, it shouldn't dim our light or dictate our lives. This can be difficult, truthfully we can be weak or strong, but we shouldn't be ashamed of being vulnerable, no matter what we can overcome, we're not immune to being overwhelmed by the unfair circumstances that surrounds life.
