My Kind of Red

Hello Hive :)

Was still trying to get my head around things but Friday came rather fast on my side of the world. It feels as though I have slowed down a lot that the number of things I usually get done without much difficulty months ago are now half-done on the same time spent, lol! The husband teased I may need some re-calibration, whatever that means. It sounded like it was meant for a machine, haha!

Anyhow, enough of my ramblings and going to today's theme courtesy of friendlymoose's POBPhotocontest and this week's focus is RED.

I have quite a bunch of red shades on my gallery, mostly captured randomly at different times. Red flowers, ripe tomatoes, red boots, there was me on red cap and more. It can be hard to choose but the farm girl in me kicked in so here's my kind of red that carry some memories with them too:

A ripe plastic pepper hanging proudly on its stem. This was photographed while we were on a hike up the mountains sometime ago. I must share that the farmer who had this crop made quite a sum of money when he harvested them as the wholesale price during that time was really good.

Oh well, forgive me, I digressed a bit, lol!

And I can't help to share this shot of a Rambutan fruit peel lying by a farm's waterway. We were attending an uncle's wake somewhere out of town and we went for a morning walk when I noticed it and thought it was interesting hence this photo.

I'm no great at photography and I usually just point and shot so most of my captures are out of angle or such, hehe!

And my final share for the day - my brother's red alstro drenched in the rain. Yep, he too grows flowers in his yard!

This is my participation for the RED prompt and if you want to hop in and join the fun, please check it out HERE.

Thank you and I wish you a fabulous day!
