A lethal combination for investments and although long ago many of us thought that the cryptographic market was very different and therefore protected at least in part from the traditional parameters of finance and savings, now we sadly verify that not only are they not immune, but it seems to affect them perhaps to a greater extent than others much older and therefore perhaps more reliable.
In recent times, the adoption of cryptocurrencies has exceeded unexpected percentages in many countries, here in Latin America it serves as a way to protect our savings or add extra income to economies that have been badly hit, mainly due to mismanagement of successive governments.
I have several friends and acquaintances from Hive who were born and live in Venezuela, for example, and cryptocurrencies have helped them enormously to survive in an imploding economy. Here in Argentina, we have, to a lesser extent, similar problems.
The United States has announced these days an inflation projection for the whole year close to 9%, the highest in memory in at least 50 years. There is also talk of a recession due to the rise in interest rates, which has already been applied and will surely be touched up in the coming days. The specter of a new housing bubble haunts the news and people's heads again.
Within this scenario today I woke up with a bearish correction of ETH of almost 10%, what can be said about it.
Just lower your head and find a way to mitigate the storm, unsaddle until it clears up, my grandmother would say.
Una combinación letal para las inversiones y aunque tiempo atrás muchos pensábamos que el mercado criptográfico era muy distinto y por ello protegido al menos en parte de los parámetros tradicionales de las finanzas y el ahorro, ahora comprobamos, tristemente, que no solamente no son inmunes, sino que parece afectarlas quizás en mayor medida que otras mucho más antiguas y por ello quizás más confiables.
En los últimos tiempos la adopción de las criptomonedas ha superado porcentajes no esperados en muchos países, aquí en Latinoamérica sirve como una forma de proteger nuestros ahorros o de agregar ingresos extras a las economías muy golpeadas, principalmente por las malas administraciones de los sucesivos gobiernos.
Tengo varios amigos y conocidos de Hive que son nacidos y viven por ejemplo en Venezuela y las criptomonedas los han ayudado enormemente para sobrevivir en una economía absolutamente implosionada, aquí en Argentina tenemos, en menor medida, problemas similares.
Estados Unidos ha anunciado en estos días una proyección de inflación para todo el año cercana al 9%, la más alta que se recuerde en al menos 50 años. Allí también se habla de recesión por la suba de tasas de interés, la que ya se ha aplicado y seguramente retoques en los próximos días. El fantasma de una nueva burbuja inmobiliaria ronda nuevamente las noticias y la cabeza de las personas.
Dentro de este panorama hoy me desperté con una corrección bajista del ETH de casi un 10%, que se puede decir al respecto.
Solo bajar la cabeza y buscar la forma de mitigar la tormenta, desensillar hasta que aclare diría mi abuela.
