It is no more surprising that marriage institutions have witnessed a lot Of perversions: remarriage, divorce, bigamy, polygamy, polyandry, and the most recently same-sex marriage.
However, the mastermind of marriage which is God has set the blueprint for marriage.
And what am I trying to say in essence or what is this blueprint?
B - Bonding together: Here the man and his wife just be together, they bond together as one. They must have this connection, especially in the soul.
" Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh" (Genesis 2:24)
L - Leaving and cleaving: In this case, you must leave your friends, parents, and those you ever associated with and be joined with your spouse or your new partner.
U - Unequal yoke prohibited: you do not have to associate with people that will misguide or mislead you.
"Be ye not unequally yoked go-getter with unbelievers: for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?"
E - Endearing love for your partner or spouse. You must have unconditional love for your husband or wife just as Christ loved the church.
"Husbands love your wives, even as Christ loves the church, and gave himself for it"
This should be the measure of the love you should have for your spouse.
P - This is the part that we all should be careful with and it is very sensitive. Because God stands totally against it.
By this, I mean Divorce. Christ forbids and condemns it.
R - Rebirth or reborn of both partners. As a Christian that is ready for marriage 💍 make sure your partner both male or female must be born again.
O - This talks about humility, as a wife submits to her husband, and as a husband listen and pay attention to your wife.
I - Many people do not know that this part does attract a bigger penalty. That is infidelity abhorred.
There is only one rule here, do not defile your marriage bed. Or you will incur the wrath of God.
N - In this part, you should know that marriage is for a lifetime. And can only be separated by death.
T - This comes after 9 months which thorough child training. Your child must be brought up in the way of God.
Just like in proverbs. 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old he will not depart from it"
This is necessary because this blueprint stated is being transferred from generation to generation.
And as couples, submitting yourselves one to another will bring a blissful and successful marriage.
