Crass headline for a fundraiser, isn't it?
But that's exactly what it is. It's bad and it's urgent.
And it's a human life at stake.
Emmanuel's foot is rotting away right now.
We just found out this morning.
Emmanuel lives in absolute poverty, in a tiny hut, and the foot has been infected for a month.
The daughter has already been to the hospital with her father.
Since she cannot pay the bill, the father was not treated.
There is no health insurance in Uganda.
At least a part of the foot has to be amputated.
We have sent money and Emmanuel will be taken to the hospital today, because we are sure that he will die without treatment.
However, we are now really dependent on your help, because such an operation is expensive even in Uganda and we cannot pay for it alone.

Aber genauso ist es. Es ist schlimm und es ist dringend.
Und es geht um ein Menschenleben.
Emmanuels Fuß gammelt gerade weg.
Wir haben das erst heute morgen erfahren.
Emmanuel lebt in absoluter Armut, in einer winzigen Hütte und der Fuß ist seit einem Monat infiziert.
Die Tochter war schon mit ihrem Vater im Krankenhaus.
Da sie die Rechnung nicht bezahlen kann, wurde der Vater nicht behandelt.
Es gibt in Uganda keine Krankenversicherung.
Mindestens ein Teil des Fußes muss amputiert werden.
Wir haben Geld geschickt und Emmanuel wird noch heute ins Krankenhaus gebracht, denn wir sind sicher, dass er ohne Behandlung sterben wird.
Jedoch sind wir jetzt wirklich auf eure Hilfe angewiesen, denn so eine Operation ist auch in Uganda teuer und das können wir nicht alleine bezahlen.
