I joined the blockchain almost 4 years ago. I remember many events and I went through all the changes we had on the blockchain. I still remember the hard fork 19 and all of them after. I remember how upvote bots appeared, then applications, then communities. Then I was fighting with so many of you, the takeover here, and I joined hive after that. I even started to create collaborations here, which you can see in @dcooperation. That was great. I joined a few tribes, but in the end I liked proof of brain tribe because that's what has been keeping me here for so long. I've always felt that concept during all the time being here. You can feel it in fact in each tribe and community created. Most of us love that and are still supporting it ! That's what made us who we are now !
I like the proof of brain because I don't have to be stuck to something else, but only to my content and improvement. I'm getting rewarded for my work and that's really great. It's kind of working and getting paid. Should I pay my boss in return ? I don't really know. I can do that by commenting, promoting and creating quality content to support the idea and spread it arround the world. I may even create collaborations and grow @dcooperation and power up all the earnings there. But, should I power up myself ? Is there any reason to do that ? You also have to know that I don't have much time to curate. And I'm setting my account for an autoupvote for a proof of brain concept maybe wrong. My problem was always to never let my power be 100% for a long time. I feel that people need support and I'm just staying on my power without making it active. That's why during all the time I did my best to always upvote people and then I set autoupvotes and now @dcooperation is autoupvoting more than 300 creators in hive. I chose them among those who are creating quality content and promoting the blockchain in twitter !
I don't really know. You may tell me that I have to power up to support others and to earn curation rewards. You may tell me that if I get only comments. it means I may be not that happy about the tribe. You may tell me that I have to proof I have stake in a proof of brain tribe and I will just feel confused. Should we prove we have brain or stake ? Or both ? I lost the point here ! Or maybe it's not only proof of brain ? Maybe it's proof of brain-stake.
Looking at the trending page I see people there with stake and others for brain, for their activity on the tribe, for commenting a lot, for creating quality content, for bringing value to the community. But, can I bring value only by my content ? Is that allowed here ?
I'm really sorry if I've offended anyone staking proof of brain. I really don't want that !
All I want is to find a reason to stake a token I really like. And I see a big future of this community !
Maybe the reason is in thinking that the price will grow in the future and I may become a millionaire if I hold that long enough ? Maybe the reason is to support others who are creating here and bringing value ? What if the price goes down ? What if we see another fork or a compititor appearing on another blockchain ?
I remember when sportstalk apeared, I invested about $500 in steem in that token. It cost about $0.006 per token then. Now it's almost 1000 times lower. Imagine that. My $500 turned to $0.5. I became a billionaire even ! lol
I don't know guys. I'm afraid that I will be a billionaire with proof of brain as well. ☺
Please give me a reason to invest in POB. I really want to find a strong reason to do that !
Maybe this post looks crazy, but I'm just sharing what's happening in my brain. I'm almost sure this post will be well commented. I need to read all the comments to decide what to do !
I'm sure if the half of the earning will go to power and the half will be liquid I will leave the power as I had left that for a long time before. If I find a strong enough reason, I will even use some liquid earned to power it up. I'm even ready to buy now some tokens with a part of bitcoin I own.
Talk to me as if you are talking to an investor who is ready to invest in this token. I don't care about most cryptocurrencies that much because I don't have people who know me there. I'm not active in other crypto communities. I'm active only here. Only where my posts are written. I think most other cryptocurrencies are just speculative. I've been following them for years. Maybe I don't know enough about them. But I know what proof of brain is. I was a part of it when it was created for the first time and I'm now a part of it when it's created again. I like to consume what's trending here. Because it's mostly smart, intelligent and deservedly appreciated.
