Good morning, beautiful souls.
Had a little walk earlier around my yard and had a lil fun with some of the fallen leaves and flowers before the rain took over. Took one of the dried orange cotton fruit leaf and cut a heart-shaped hole in the middle and used that as a frame to my lantana flowers that was just bloomed.
Btw, a cotton fruit is a sour circle yellowish fruit with big seeds that look like cotton balls and the skin looks like a human skin. We used this for cooking sour soup and could also be eaten raw - dipped in a vinegar with salt. Some use soy sauce, shrimp paste or fish sauce. I do love spicy vinegar.
Lantana on the other hand for those who are not familiar, is a cluster of tiny flowers like a bouquet and have different color varieties (yello, pink, red, fuchsia, orange and a mixed f those). This grows typically in tropical countries like the Philippines and has a very strong smell. For some, it's stinky, but I like it. It is also good as a mosquito repellant.
So yeah, this is my entry to @friendlymoose's ChallengePOBphotocontest New Round: FRAMING.
Thank you for visiting!
