A Spot For Absolute Serenity.

Have you ever felt the need to take a deep breath with your eyes closed and then feel a sweet sigh leaving your lips just at the sight of something nice?

Well, I have. I even had the privilege to feel it today, and with this, I couldn't help but be more thankful for how today started and how it was going to end.

The day started with a big smile and music on my lips as I opened my eyes. It was a beautiful thing waking up to see such an amazing day. Yeah, I know, thank God it's Friday, uhn? Don't mind me, haha.

However, I had a lot to do, so I have been indoors doing both online and offline work, and it has been draining getting to prepare for the weekend. Having in mind that there's a #photocontest that awaits my participation, I couldn't help putting on my shoes to go out with my main goal in mind, "getting an amazing picture and having a good day out."

Though I do like spending most of my time indoors because it is safer to do that out here, I knew I needed fresh air and the beauty of the sun on my skin so I decided to go to a Catholic church close to the place I am vacationing at.

The walk to the church was an overly busy one. Since it was evening, I guess many people are returning from work to begin the weekend, which is a very good thing.

After walking for some time, I got to the church gate and went in. And, I have to admit that entering the church was a beautiful sight. If you've seen any Catholic church, you'd agree that they do very well with their building structures. It takes this delightful, unexplainable shape that warms the heart.

The pureness, both inside and outside the church, was enthralling, and as you can see in the picture, there's light all around, which added more beauty to the picture. It gives off a vibe of serenity. It looks heavenly, and you'd want to spend every day just exploring and closing your eyes to breathe in as you open your eyes to be faced with the beauty before you.

I took some pictures with my phone, but I was more pleased with this one. The way the cross stood out and the altar too calls on to me, and I couldn't help the smile that graced my soul in response.

With this, I couldn't help but share the calmness felt and truly wish that it would be felt by those who grace their eyes upon it.

Still yours truly,

Thanks for reading.

Peace be unto those who crave it and more to those who chase it away.
