Empezaré hablando lo que para mi es la comida más emblemática de la navidad, y esto lo digo porque inmediatamente al escuchar navidad relaciono rápidamente esta sabrosa comida que tanto amo. En mi casa es una tradición reunirnos en familia a preparar las sabrosas hallacas y este año no fue la excepción, las preparamos el 23 de diciembre y aún nos queda. La Hallaca es un plato navideño típico de Venezuela que básicamente es masa amarilla rellena de un guiso de carne de res, cochino y pollo y envuelta por hojas de plátano. Claro, cada familia y cada estado tiene sus variaciones de como prepararla, en mi casa le echamos el guiso, huevo, pimentón, papa, aceitunas, pasas y cebolla. He escuchado personas que odian la hallaca que le echan huevo, sin embargo así siempre las han preparado en mi casa y a mi me gusta, por eso digo, cada familia tiene su manera de prepararla. Seguimos con el Pan de Jamón que también amo con todo mi corazón, el pan de jamón también es una comida navideña típica de Venezuela, y es un pan con jamón jajajjajajajajja, no mentira, es un pan relleno de jamón, tocineta, pasas y aceitunas con la masa un poco dulce. En mi casa la que hace los panes de jamón es mi mamá y le quedan divinos, les cuento que a ella le encargan panes y ella los vende, bueno, así fue el año pasado, ella vendió muchos panes de jamón y a todos les gustaban (mi mamá es la mejor cocinando jajajaja) pero este año solo hizo los panes para la casa, ya que ella dice que el año pasado hizo mucho esfuerzo y luego se sentía mal, este año prefirió cuidar su salud y hacer el pan solo para la familia, que quedó sabrosísimo. Bueno, el pernil es la parte trasera del cerdo o cochino y en Venezuela para navidad se prepara al horno bien sazonado, el 24 comimos pernil en mi casa, pero el 31 metimos al horno fue una punta trasera de res, que también estaba realmente buena. Esta la preparó mi hermana menor, ella sazonó la carne con cerveza, ajo, sal, alcaparra y orégano y le quedó bastante bueno, también hizo varios huecos en la cara donde metió aceitunas. Casi siempre esto es lo que termino de comer primero, siento que tiene un sabor adictivo y no puedo parar de comerlo, me encanta el sabor que agarra con todo lo que le echan y queda sabrosísimo, simplemente me encanta demasiado y disfruto mucho comiéndolo. ![photo_2023-01-02_19-38-05.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/chemi.art/23w2igFk8Pk8vHYjYh7LowCTfqi6wkEwSvRg6sTPM6MH5wfcHnsP6TgSW2tmzkXigZQgF.jpg) Ensalada de Gallina o de Pollo: - Por ultimo, pero no menos importante hablemos de la ensalada de gallina o de pollo, es también una comida navideña típica de Venezuela que se hace principalmente con papa, zanahoria, tiras de pollo o gallina y mayonesa, algunas personas le echan maíz, guisantes, manzana, perejil, etc... En mi casa se hace la ensalada con pollo y le echamos papa y zanahoria picadas en cuadritos, perejil, mayonesa y este año por primera vez probamos echándole manzana verde, nunca antes la había probado así, pero este año le dije a mi mamá que comprara manzana verde para echarle y ella para consentirme accedió. No hay alguien en específico que prepare esta ensalada en mi casa, este año la hizo mi tía María y le quedó espectacular y la manzana verde le dio un toque mágico, años pasados la han hecho otras tías o mi mamá. I will start by talking about what for me is the most emblematic food of Christmas, and I say this because immediately when I hear Christmas I quickly relate this tasty food that I love so much. In my house it is a tradition to get together as a family to prepare the tasty hallacas and this year was no exception, we prepared them on December 23 and we still have some left. We continue with the Pan de Jamón that I also love with all my heart, the pan de jamón is also a typical Venezuelan Christmas food, and it is a bread with ham hahahahahahahahahahaha, no lie, it is a bread filled with ham, bacon, raisins and olives with a slightly sweet dough. In my house the one who makes the ham breads is my mom and they are divine, I tell you that she orders breads and she sells them, well, that was last year, she sold many ham breads and everyone liked them (my mom is the best at cooking hahahahaha) but this year she only made the breads for the house, because she says that last year she made a lot of effort and then she felt bad, this year she preferred to take care of her health and make the bread only for the family, which was very tasty. Well, the pernil is the back part of the pig or pork and in Venezuela for Christmas it is prepared in the oven well seasoned, on the 24th we ate pernil in my house, but on the 31st we put in the oven a rear end of beef, which was also really good. This one was prepared by my younger sister, she seasoned the meat with beer, garlic, salt, caper and oregano and it was quite good, she also made several holes in the side where she put olives.
