Late in the evening yesterday I was battling with transplant of the fluted pumpkin plant which I successfully made few hours ago it involves a lot in order to make this work out well and also for those of us who definitely want to go for planting of seed in one way or the other this is absolutely right for you welcome to my blog.
I always love to show my work step-by-step in order to motivate so many people to join the Agricultural mindsets and also to cultivate crops no matter how small it may look. Going for agricultural plant is a very special and undiluted thing to practice even inside your own or rented apartment. Although for the rented apartment you can go with the mobile seedbed initiative which definitely will provide a easy access for you to carry your plans from one place to another or move whenever you feel like packing out. So let's get straight to the point here on Out I did mine on transplants of seed.
Method Used.
I also used the method which I called the mobile seedbed method in the transplants of the fluted pumpkin seed which are just 24 days old on its own after sprouting out. Although it's take what is called Grace for plants to grow this kind of the season because it is dry season here so they chances is very low of survival. But nevertheless I made it successful yesterday evening.
The Parents Nursery seed.
In agriculture it depends on how all the method you want to use but for me I prefer to plant into nursery first of all so as for you to know which of the seed is viable and which of them is not viable to germinate. So this is the parents nursery bed.
- Step 1.
I first of all made sure that the parents mobile seedbed is moist because I need to get into the deep down when I want to uproot the seed from the nursery bed. If not the plant will be destroyed and the whole seed will be gone and bad.
The Tools used.
Hand trowel
A Knife
- Step 2.
I used the Hand trowel to make a deep hole inside the bucket which I call the mobile Seedbed too. Thereafter, i poured in more water to make it more moist again before the main transplant will begin.
- step 3.
I went to the main nursery bed and I carefully uprooted the fluted pumpkin plants I wanted to transplant.
- Step 4.
I had to patiently deep the already uprooted fluted pumpkin plant into the already soaked mobile seedbed.
