Planting of different crops which is also known as mix cropping can also be an advantage when you have a very big plot of land for farming activities which can be carried out at same time during one planting season. It elevates and also be a motivator for other farmers who are ready to work hard throughout the farming season. I was on a trip few weeks ago to Ile ife Osun State Nigeriawhere I saw this farmer with a very big mix cropping system. He has been doing this for a year couple of years back before now because I made a very quick research and also I met his elder son down the farm but he told me not to capture him and also show his face.

I saw more of this when I went to this section of the farm l, I saw the cassava stem in between the Plantain which can never be seen elsewhere but its real. I saw it here without any doubt. This was the reason why I intentionally took more clearer pictures of the farm.

This was also a very clearer review of the mixed farming. I also practiced this but in a very small way in order to maximize the plot of land because they Farmland I'm using it very small.

It is possible to plant this kind of crop together without any defect or deficiency in nutrients absorbtion. But when it comes to leguminous crop there might be a little bit of competition in the nutrients. In this aspect when you plant beans you need to plant a crop that is more higher or taller than the legume crop which is the beans. So you can mix it with maize it grow with each other or better still you can plant okra.
