Feliz día bella comunidad, hoy fue día de limpieza de la maleza en el huerto, cada vez que la maleza toma el terreno hay que erradicarla ya que invade a las plantas que están en crecimiento ya que compiten con ellas por los nutrientes de la tierra.
Happy day beautiful community, today was weeding day in the orchard every time weeds take over the land we must eradicate them as they invade the plants that are growing as they compete with them for nutrients in the soil.
Este es mi gato Maska, se emociona cada vez limpio el huerto, se pone a correr, jugar y revolcarse en la tierra.
This is my cat Maska, he gets excited every time I clean the orchard, he starts running, playing and rolling around in the dirt
También debíamos sacar la cosecha de yucas ya que estas plantas tienen 9 meses de sembradas y el tiempo es de 8 a 10 meses para sacarlas de la tierra despues de sembrar las estacas de yuca, para sacarlas me ayudo mi hijo mayor ya que la tierra estaba un poco dura.
We also had to remove the yucca harvest since these plants are 9 months old and the time is 8 to 10 months to remove them from the soil after planting the yucca stakes, my oldest son helped me to remove them since the soil was a little hard.
Esta es mi cosecha de yuca, esta verdura es rica en vitamina K que protege los huesos, vitamina B6 que favorecen en el cuidado de la piel el cabello y hierro.
Ahora vamos a llevarla dentro de la casa para pelarla lavarla y congelarla, de esta manera se puede conservar por meses en cambio si la dejamos con la concha se va dañando rápidamente aunque este dentro de la nevera.
This is my yucca harvest, this vegetable is rich in vitamin K that protects the bones, vitamin B6 that helps in the care of the skin, hair and iron.
Now we are going to take it inside the house to peel it, wash it and freeze it, this way it can be preserved for months instead if we leave it with the shell it will be damaged quickly even if it is inside the refrigerator.
La piel de la yuca la usamos de abono así que vuelve a la tierra, la lleve al patio para enterrarla
We use the skin of the yucca as fertilizer so it goes back into the soil, I took it to the yard to bury it.
Esta cosecha servirá para hacer unos palitos de yuca fritos como contorno de alguna comida y un dulce tradicional aquí en Venezuela llamado buñuelos que es super rico.

This harvest will be used to make some fried yucca sticks as a garnish for some food and a traditional sweet here in Venezuela called buñuelos which is super tasty.
