Blue berry tomatoes are one of the most beautiful vegetables I have in my garden. The fruits have gradient, from purple pink on the bottom to dark purple on top. And fruits have a star under their stem! My daughter likes to see the star.
The taste is mild. Less acidic and easy to eat for everyone. I'm not sure it has umami taste, which said regularly black - blue - purple tomatoes have.
Anyway, I’ll definitely save their seeds for next year 😊
どの植物も野菜もみんなきれいなのですが、中でもブルーベリートマトの美しさといったら！お尻が紫のようなピンクでヘタに近づくにつれて濃い紫で、ヘタの下は星のような模様があります。子どもはこれを見るのが大好きです・・・もちろん食べるのも。
味はマイルドで食べやすく、色の濃い黒、紫系のトマトにあると言われている旨味は・・・そこまで感じません。
いずれにせよこれは種取り決定。一つ難があるとすれば、そこまで収量がないことですが、これはもっと大きい鉢に植えるか地植えにするかで解消できるのかもしれません。
