Sin duda una hoja de papel o un lienzo en blanco puede suponer un reto para un artista, lleve poco o mucho tiempo de experiencia, en mi caso, como ya lo he mencionado antes pienso que aún tengo mucho que mejorar y superarme a mí misma, sin embargo cada vez que hago un dibujo o una pintura sin duda es una labor que me da mucha satisfacción.

Hace un tiempo coloque una publicidad en el Facebook, ofreciendo mis trabajos de dibujos, específicamente retratos, y una chica se comunicó conmigo para encargarme un retrato que a simple vista lo vi sencillo, pero luego de concretar el encargo, la chica cambio de opinión y me manifestó que se mudaría a otra habitación y quería decorar una de las paredes con un cuadro “Grande” y me hizo énfasis en ello, así que el cuadro que realizaría seria a mayor escala y con otra técnica.

Les confieso que es la primera vez que hago un cuadro tan grande, sus medidas son 130 x 90. Al principio pensé que podría hacerlo con pintura al frío, pero al empezar a hacer los degradados del rostro me di cuenta que necesitaría otra pintura, pedí sugerencias y pues sí, necesitaría óleo, lo bueno era que aun mi hermana y yo conservamos algo de este material que adquirimos hace años cuando hacíamos cursos y la situación económica era más cómoda y los costos eran más accesibles.

Al utilizarlo de inmediato me di cuenta de la diferencia, es fenomenal trabajar con este material, sobretodo en la zona de las pieles, lo único es que el diluyente, la trementina, es de olor muy fuerte al igual que el óleo, por eso es recomendable tomar leche a la hora de pintar.
Hoy solo les mostraré el proceso de elaboración pero hasta la mitad, en otro Post les contaré como lo culmine. :D
Tuve que tomarle una foto a mi papa en una pose parecida para realizar la mano, pues la foto original no esta muy nítida.

La pintura aun fresca, por eso se ve con algo de brillo en la foto, sobretodo en las partes negras con puntura al oleo, como la gorra y el cabello,lo hice así para que se diferenciara del fondo. :D
