Les saludo y deseo para ustedes todas las cosas bellas del mundo, que cada día puedan ir logrando sus metas, que su camino por la vida sea muy hermoso y lleno de buena vibra.

Hace rato que en mi país Venezuela los espacios en las que nos quedamos sin electricidad han ido en aumento, esto nos deja además de a oscuras, sin el tan importante internet que nos comunica a nivel global.

Por esta razón, cada vez que ocurren estos "APAGONES" me quedó reflexionando sobre cómo sería volver a una realidad donde dejara de existir el internet.

Para los seres humanos la internet hoy en día constituye casi el 100% de comunicarse, trabajar, realizar transacciones financieras, compartir en familia, ver series, crear obras de arte digitales, miles de actividades son ahora parte de nuestra vida gracias a la Internet.

Volviendo a los momentos de oscuridad y falta de conexión vividos recientemente, nos hemos dado cuenta que cuando esto ocurre nos dedicamos a actividades que habíamos olvidado. Jugar juegos de mesa, ver las estrellas, preparar una torta, conversar, arreglar el jardín, dirigirte al lugar donde está la persona a la que le quieres mandar un mensaje.

No se trata esto de querer volver a un mundo antes de la internet, sino sencillamente imaginarnos un mundo futurístico donde luego de no haber cuidado nuestros recursos en algún momento ocurra un gran apagón y nos quedemos sin la amada internet, por tal razón al crear esta iniciativa mi intención es que nos podamos preguntar:

¿QUÉ HARIAS?

¿CÓMO PRODUCIRÍAS ECONÓMICAMENTE?

¿A QUÉ DEDICARÍAS TU TIEMPO?

¿CÓMO SERÍA TU DÍA A DÍA?

Estas son algunas interrogantes que podríamos hacernos, pero tú tienes la libertad de responder tus propias interrogantes.

En mi caso

¿QUÉ HARIAS?

En mi caso, luego de haber pasado por un gran estado de shock y superar mi etapa de síndrome de abstinencia, mirar un sín fin de veces a mi télefono y aceptar en algún momento que ya no hay caso, entonces buscaría comenzar a organizar mi tiempo en actividades que me gusten y que a la vez sean productivas.

¿CÓMO PRODUCIRÍAS ECONÓMICAMENTE?

Aquí creo que es indispensable el hecho de saber un oficio, cómo soy docente creo que me dedicaría a ofrecer mis servicios para ayudar a los niños a aprender, y me dedicaría a la repostería, buscaría la manera de vender mis productos.

¿A QUÉ DEDICARÍAS TU TIEMPO?

Volvería a leer mucho, seguiría escribiendo, pintaría cuadros, sembraría mi jardín y me dedicaria a hacer un pequeño conuco en mi casa para tener plantas frutales, visitaría a mis amigos y dedicaría más tiempo a ir a parques con mis hijos y pasarla bien con ellos. Escríbiria muchas cartas y se las enviaría a mis afectos.

¿CÓMO SERÍA TU DÍA A DÍA?

Creo que me levantaría a la misma hora, pero con la diferencia de que no vería mi celular antes de levantarme de la cama, saldría a caminar y luego realizaría mis labores del día, organizaría mi día para producir y crear cosas nuevas, tendría más tiempo para crear y no sólo para recibir información como ahora.

Obviamente ustedes pensarán, al igual que yo, todas esas cosas las podemos hacer igual existiendo la internet, pero ¿Las hacemos?, ¿qué es lo que no nos deja realizarlas?, cada quién tendrá su respuesta muy personal.

Plantearnos realidades con cambios extremos a veces nos ayuda a replantearnos muchas cosas sobre nuestra vida, esta iniciativa no es más que una forma de reflexionar y preguntarnos ¿Nosotros usamos a la internet para vivir o la internet nos usa a nosotros dejándonos sin vida?

For this reason, every time these "blackouts" occur, I am left reflecting on what it would be like to return to a reality where the internet no longer exists.

For human beings the internet today constitutes almost 100% of communicating, working, making financial transactions, sharing with family, watching series, creating digital works of art, thousands of activities are now part of our life thanks to the internet.

Going back to the moments of darkness and lack of connection experienced recently, we have realized that when this happens we engage in activities that we had forgotten. Playing board games, looking at the stars, baking a cake, chatting, gardening, going to the place where the person you want to send a message to is.

This is not about wanting to return to a world before the internet, but simply imagine a futuristic world where after not having taken care of our resources at some point there will be a big blackout and we will be left without the beloved internet, for that reason when creating this initiative my intention is that we can ask ourselves:

**WHAT WOULD YOUR DAY TO DAY LIFE BE LIKE?

**WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

In my case, after going through a great state of shock and overcoming my stage of abstinence syndrome, looking at my phone countless times and accepting at some point that there is no more case, then I would seek to start organizing my time in activities that I like and that at the same time are productive.

**HOW WOULD YOU PRODUCE ECONOMICALLY?

Here I think it is essential to know a trade, as I am a teacher I think I would dedicate myself to offer my services to help children learn, and I would dedicate myself to baking, I would look for a way to sell my products.

**WHAT WOULD YOU DEDICATE YOUR TIME TO?

I would go back to reading a lot, I would continue writing, I would paint pictures, I would plant my garden and I would dedicate myself to make a small conuco in my house to have fruit plants, I would visit my friends and I would dedicate more time to go to parks with my children and have a good time with them. I would write a lot of letters and send them to my loved ones.

**WHAT WOULD YOUR DAY TO DAY LIFE BE LIKE?

I think I would wake up at the same time, but with the difference that I would not look at my cell phone before getting out of bed, I would go for a walk and then I would do my daily chores, I would organize my day to produce and create new things, I would have more time to create and not only to receive information as I do now.

Obviously you will think, as I do, that we can do all these things with the internet, but do we do them, what is it that prevents us from doing them, everyone will have their own very personal answer.

This initiative is nothing more than a way to reflect and ask ourselves: Do we use the internet to live or does the internet use us leaving us without life?
