Hola, gente de #Gems. Estoy aquí reportandome con mi participación y respuesta a la invitación de mi querida hiver @mariblue, a su tag llamado "Háblame de tu carrera" donde debemos responder una serie de preguntas con respecto a la carrera que estamos estudiando, que ya estudiamos o que soñamos con estudiar. En mi caso yo estoy estudiando telecomunicaciones y me gusta pero siendo honesta mi verdadero amor es otra carrera. Una carrera de creación que pone en práctica tus máximas capacidades creativas y deja tu mente volar.

Hello #Gems people. I'm here reporting with my participation and response to the invitation of my dear hiver @mariblue, to her tag called "Tell me about your career" where we must answer a series of questions regarding the career we are studying, that we already study or that we dream of studying. In my case I am studying telecommunications and I like it but to be honest my true love is another career. A career of creation that puts into practice your maximum creative abilities and lets your mind fly.

Esto es lo que pienso acerca de la carrera de la cual voy a hablarles, planeo aprenderla más adelante, ya que el que no pueda hacerlo ahora mismo no significa que no pueda hacerlo en el futuro. Sin más que decir, pasemos a lo principal.

Here's what I think about the career I'm going to tell you about, I plan to learn it later, because just because I can't do it right now doesn't mean I can't do it in the future. Without more to say, let's move on to the main thing.

¿En qué consiste la carrera? || What does the career consist of?

Esta carrera consiste en la representación de conceptos y objetos a través de la ilustración digital, conlleva muchos elementos distintos para este fin. Un diseñador gráfico puede o debe obtener conocimiento en dibujo, pintura y arte digital. Su fin es lograr la correcta comunicación audiovisual que represente la imagen de una empresa, corporación o marca a través de redes sociales o páginas web. Es estratega y creativo.

Puede subdividirse en especialidades ya sea la animación, el dibujo técnico, animación digital (así se creo Shrek jeje), entre otros.

This career consists of the representation of concepts and objects through digital illustration, it involves many different elements for this purpose. A graphic designer can or should obtain knowledge in drawing, painting and digital art. Its purpose is to achieve the correct audiovisual communication that represents the image of a company, corporation or brand through social networks or websites. He is a strategist and creative.

It can be subdivided into specialties such as animation, technical drawing, digital animation (that's how Shrek was created hehe), among others.

¿Siempre llamó tu atención? || Always caught your attention?

Debo decir que de cierta manera, siempre quise algo que tuviera que ver con la ilustración, algo donde pudiera plasmar mis ideas y trasmitir mensajes con mis creaciones. Desde muy niña me ha encantado dibujar y conforme fui creciendo me hice muy amante de los medios audiovisuales, amo el mensaje que transmiten las vídeos, las canciones y las películas. El como podemos interpretar cada mínima cosa y hacer un mundo de ello, por eso siempre quise participar en eso y el diseño gráfico para mi se volvió una meta que espero cumplir en algún momento.

Para ser específica, fue como a los 8 años que descubrí esta carrera y desde entonces siempre he dicho que quiero estudiarla, si bien ahora mismo estoy estudiando otra cosa no significa que deba renunciar a esa meta, solo la pospuse hasta que tenga la oportunidad de hacerlo.

I must say that in a way, I always wanted something to do with illustration, something where I could express my ideas and transmit messages with my creations. Since I was a child I have loved to draw and as I grew up I became a lover of audiovisual media, I love the message conveyed by videos, songs and movies. The way we can interpret every little thing and make a world out of it, that's why I always wanted to participate in that and graphic design for me became a goal that I hope to accomplish at some point.

To be specific, it was when I was about 8 years old that I discovered this career and since then I have always said that I want to study it, although right now I am studying something else does not mean that I should give up that goal, I just postponed it until I have the opportunity to do it.

Si hubieras estudiado lo que querías de niño ¿que sería? || If you had studied what you wanted as a child, what would it be?

De niña quería estudiar arte, quería pintar y crear libremente. Me gsutaban muchas ramas, quería del mismo, ya fuera pintura, dibujo en grafito, composición de letras, etc. Hubo un tiempo donde escribía incluso mis propios versos y canciones porque quería componer canciones, de ahí mi amor por la música. Estaría estudiando para ser compositora musical, aún recuerdo con cariño esos cuadernos que llené con letras "romanticas" y "profundas".

As a child I wanted to study art, I wanted to paint and create freely. I liked many branches, I wanted the same, whether it was painting, drawing in graphite, composing lyrics, etc.. There was a time when I even wrote my own verses and songs because I wanted to compose songs, hence my love for music. I would be studying to be a music composer, I still remember fondly those notebooks that I filled with "romantic" and "deep" lyrics.

¿Alguien cercano a ti estudia la carrera? || Is anyone close to you studying the career?

No, de hecho no conozco a nadie cercano que este estudiando algo parecido a lo que yo quiero hacer. En realidad, varios de mis familiares saben dibujar muy bien y otros saben componer canciones, otros son excelente artesanos y tengo amigos que también son excelentes en alguna rama del arte pero que alguien este estudiando de manera profesional la carrera o algo aproximado no.

No, in fact I don't know anyone close to me who is studying something similar to what I want to do. In fact, several of my relatives know how to draw very well and others know how to compose songs, others are excellent craftsmen and I have friends who are also excellent in some branch of art, but I don't know anyone who is studying professionally the career or something close to it.

¿Tus padres te apoyan? || Are your parents supportive?

Mi mamá desde siempre me ha enseñado que porque no logres algo ahora no quiere decir que no puedas hacerlo después, que atrasar tus planes no equivale a cancelarlos. Ella siempre está feliz cuando me ve dibujar y siempre que me haciéndolo me pregunta "¿qué haces? Quiero ver", me enseña cosas referente al arte y dibujo y cuando le hablo de los mensajes de las canciones y películas ella escucha atentamente porque sabe que me apasiona todo eso. Cuando le dije que mis planes de estudiar diseño gráfico se habían atrasado ella lo entendió, me dijo que sabía la situacion por la que estábamos pasando en Venezuela y por eso no debía desesperarme, que podía hacerlo más adelante "el que no puedas hacer ahora mismo no significa que no vayas a hacerlo nunca". Sin duda alguna, mi mamá es una de mis más grandes apoyos.

My mom has always taught me that just because you don't achieve something now doesn't mean you can't do it later, that delaying your plans doesn't mean you have to cancel them. She is always happy when she sees me drawing and whenever she sees me doing it she asks me "what are you doing? I want to see", she show me things about art and drawing and when I talk to her about the messages of songs and movies she listens attentively because she knows that I am passionate about all that. When I told her that my plans to study graphic design had been delayed she understood, she told me that she knew the situation we were going through in Venezuela and that's why I shouldn't despair, that I could do it later "just because you can't do it right now doesn't mean you will never do it ". Without a doubt, my mom is one of my biggest supporters.
