Now in English:

Blessed start of the week my dear @hivers over here I brought you a beautiful illustration this weekend, it was very productive thanks to that I already have ready all the content that I will publish this week for you with God's favor.

image.png

It happens that I wanted to publish this Saturday, May 29th because I had my drawing ready for that day, but due to force majeure I couldn't do it (the power went out) so I decided to take advantage of the time to create! to begin with, I was inspired by a beautiful illustration I saw on youtube and I made my own version of ALEXIS MABILLE BLUE SILK DRESS DRAWING TUTORIAL by FSketcher I recommend you to follow that account, it's too cool: **

MATERIALS:

  1. Paper (I use mostly recycled paper to practice) if you have your own drawing pad, even better.
  2. 2B pencil is best.
  3. Eraser.
  4. Crejones : beige, orange, brown, green and black of Paper Mate brand.
Black and brown fine marker No.36, 23 and 26 green and blue No.17 from Kores brand,
  5. Blue frosting or glitter.
  6. Motivation!

I make my figurine by hand to practice and loosen my hand more when drawing, I was so inspired at that time of the morning on Saturday that I forgot to take the proper photos of the illustration step by step.

1622277299436.jpg

image.png

As you can see I have it almost ready in pencil, as I'm drawing I'm changing the style of the dress because it's my version and I enjoy it a lot, I start to define it with a pencil that was what I had at hand at that time and that's how it was at that time of the morning, so I wanted to leave it in suspense for the next post.

1622277277874.jpg

1622277277854.jpg

image.png

As I could not publish it then I enjoyed it more, I started with the color of the skin, hair and finally dress, coloring twice the first with soft tones and the second time with more intense shades of color to give it a lively touch, the white spaces simulate the brightness as in the clothes.

1622482297860.jpg

1622483754894.jpg

image.png

And this was the final result, I intensified colors, two types of green to give it intensity, then for ruffles and stress points that are the folds I added blue and purple. Who is the girl I illustrated next to it? Her agent! She represents the Top Model of the moment #HIVE.

I hope you liked it as much as I did, in the next posts of this week I will give you great tutorials so you can start designing @yenmendt style right away.

Final recommendation

*When the muse comes, you must let yourself go, whatever time it is, give yourself a few minutes for you, have fun creating something, even if you think it's insignificant, it turns out to be worth gold because it cleared your mind and what you think you have drawn is nothing, for others it is a work of art.
