Today I show you the Plaza Miranda in my city, a popular place in Cumaná/Sucre/Venezuela.
Dar una caminata en mi cuidad, es común, porque es muy pequeña, muchas personas van y vienen con un destino cada quien hace sus diligencias osimpemente salen a dar un paseo como esmi caso. Hoy sali con mi esposo a caminar y nos detuvimos en esta plaza ubicada en el centro de a cuidad.
Taking a walk in my city is common, because it is very small, many people come and go with a destination, everyone does their errands or just go for a walk as in my case. Today I went for a walk with my husband and we stopped at this square located in the center of the city.
La plaza Miranda es un icono de Cumaná. Fue construida en 1912, considerada la más popular por ser un punto centrico y corazón de la cuidad. La misma fue donada por el Señor Andrés Himiob, de origen alemán, paisano de Humboldt. Himiob fue un emprendedor que ocupó muchas posiciones en la vida de la Primogénita.
The Plaza Miranda is an icon of Cumana, it was built in 1912, considered the most popular for being a central point and heart of the Primogenica. It was donated by Mr. Andres Himiob, of German origin, a fellow countryman of Humboldt. Himiob was an entrepreneur who occupied many positions in the life of La Primogénita.
Lo más llamativo es la estatua de nuestro Precursor del movimiento de emancipación de Hispanoamérica, e generalísimo "Francisco de Miranda" (1750/1816), donde posé, esta plaza es un lugar agradable donde puedes sentarte y ver la naturaleza, escuchar los pájaros y descansar después de tu caminata.
The most striking is the statue of our Precursor of the emancipation movement of Spanish America "Francisco de Miranda" (1750/1816), where I posed, this square is a nice place where you can sit and watch nature, listen to the birds and rest after your walk.
